Is there a complete list of issues explained in a way that support would understand without back and forth? I could email ASRock and ask about it...
SoC/Uncore OC mode is always enabled, can not be disabled in BIOS (setting is not saved), only via UMAF (can't boot that from USB stick due to secure boot error with BIOS above P1.90),
in Advanced CTRL + Q menu it is not possible to use overclocking anymore with Boost Overdrive and Curve Optimizer for CPU and iGPU, because settings there won't be saved.

Wait I'm confused, so Curve Optimizer settings aren't saved? Afaik Curve Optimizer is part of Precision Boost Overdrive.
For the record I'm only interested in undervolting and setting a PPT limit. I've already limited my 5700G but with curve optimizer I would want my system to run a little bit cooler for the same amount of performance.

I hope ASRock fixes the isssues still then, loving my Deskmini as home server.

The entire Precision Boost Overdrive setting, which has to be set to manual to be able to enable Curve Optimizer and Boost Overdrive, is set back to disabled.
I can't see any improvements with 2.00 or 2.10, there aren't any new AGESA versions, or bug fixes, actually they introduced the bugs mentioned above. Thus just stick to 1.90. 🤷🏻‍♂️

X300 BIOS 1.90C with a 5650G supports PCIe/GFX lane bifurcation: x16, x8x8, and x8x4x4. Does that mean I can run multiple NVME drives of each m.2 slot (at a lower bandwidth)?

It's not clear what the bifurcation does on a board without a PCI slot.

Hi everyone,

My plan is to swap the 3200G in my A300 with a 5700G, which I bought 2nd hand. As far as I understand it should be best to flash the X300 1.90 BIOS, clear the CMOS and make any edits using UMAF. Am I right?

PS: I was trying to get to the download page listed in the opening post, but I get "This link is expired or invalid." Happens also with every other link shared in this thread. Any ideas?

Ensure your A300 is on BIOS 3.60S or 3.60U. You can download P1.90 from the official ASRock X300 BIOS download page.
If you want to go back to an A300 BIOS, do NOT flash 3.71A, but either 3.60S or 3.60U again! Otherwise you'll brick your A300!

The BIOSes have all been reuploaded, and the link in the main post has been refreshed, you should be able to download them.

P1.90 is what I recommend atm, considering the problems with P2.00 and P2.10 regarding Curve Optimizer, SoC/Uncore OC mode, and booting UMAF from USB.
What is the UMAF able to do / set what is not possible in the Bios by itself? The 1.90 Bios on the Asrock site has no "P" in front of it.

Regarding the X300 it's the only way atm to disable SoC/Uncore OC mode, and regarding flashing the X300 BIOS on the A300 to use Renoir or Cezanne APUs, it's the only way to change and save BIOS settings at all. Final BIOS versions are always PX.XX, Beta Versions always LX.XX.

What does disabeling the SoC/Uncore OC mode give me?

Did anyone contact ASRock support yet with the problems regarding 2.00 and 2.10?
I was concerned about relaying issues I didn't really understand. If you know what you're talking about, I would definitely reach out to them via email. I got an IOMMU compatible BIOS back for 1.90 in just a few days.

Totally understandable and no problem. I may end up flashing the 2.10 BIOS myself and check what works and what doesn't.
Where can I contact support for these BIOS engineering questions? Some mail address, any specific person, etc?
Thanks in advance!

I filled in this form, then received a reply from ASRock Netherlands, who relayed my request to Engineering in Taiwan. They were helpful and it was quick.

You can flash 2.10 to A300.
The Key Error to Access tu UMAF is simple fix.
i dont youe Secure Boot btw

You enter UEFI and go to Security Tab and Secure Boot.
Now u see is enable and Boot Mode Standard

You set Secure Boot to Disabled
Secure Boot Mode to Custom
Boot Mode to Standard
And every Question you set yes.
A300 reboot :-)

A300 boot, you enter UEFI and Boot Mode is Disable and you can access UMAF.

For Crossflash i use Windows Tool and X300 1.60 and then i flash higher numbers.
A300 -> X300 1.60 -> X300 2.10
X300 2.10 -> disable TPM with UMAF -> X300 1.60 -> A300 3.60S

In the Windows tool you can set the Name in the ini
[ROM]
File=X3MSTX_1.80E

If you flash from X300 1.60 to A300 3.60S
you must rename the 3.60S from A to X if it not work.

Windows Flash Tool:
