Windows 7 random freeze - stop!

My "getting old" PC with Windows 7 randomly freezes! I have tried to look online for a solution, but no luck yet.

Can anybody recommend a solution that really work?

BTW, collecting components for my first building PC based on ASRock A300 but still need the old one to work...)))

Did you check the event log?

You should see some errors in the System part at the moment of the crash/freeze.
