Hi all, been lurking this thread for a while as I have been planning on getting a Ghost S1 replica for quite some time now. I think I have narrowed the case that I want down to the Acat X1 (https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=616405946850). For most of the cases on Taobao, I generally look at the reviews with photos, but this case's Taobao page is restricted from being viewed in the US, so I cannot look at the reviews for myself. This is making it semi-difficult to personally get a good grasp on what the quality of the case is like. I figured I should ask here and see if anybody has any experience building in the case or knows any of the primary differences between this and Louqe's version. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

the taobao page doesn't have any reviews yet, as it's a pre-order page. i'm sure a full build and review will pop up on chiphell as soon as the case gets shipped out

Interesting to see mention of a Pro model later this year "This year there will be a pro version, a price of 500+, and the workmanship and materials will be different" and based on earlier comments in the thread I would expect front panel USB and possibly audio on this model.

Just adding that I've found baidu threads for these, you can just Google translate the webpage Looks like the K133 will be matx so won't go further into that but the K77v2 will be 9.7L and a quote from SGPC "The small tail is removed, the top with a fan holder supports two 9cm argb fans, the tail supports one 9cm fan, and the bottom supports two 9cm fans or 12cm fans (depending on the size of the motherboard), because it supports 230x205mm motherboards, yes, There is also ATX power supply and SFX dual support" (Note: Google translated).

Also very interested because he said that there's vertical support for it? "Handle accessories are sold separately, supporting both horizontal and vertical placement, saving desktop" or is that just talking about placement for the handle :/

If K77v2 is truely to fit matx MB, ATX psu, and so many fans then it's actual size should be around 13L.

K39v3 - 0.2L size increase, motherboard support increased to 230x205mm, GPU support increased to 200mm K49v2 - 4.9L, 230x205mm motherboard, 110mm CPU cooler, 1U PSU.

K55 Pro - A standalone add-on for the K55, an outershell that doesn't have any screw holes or panel gaps, part of the new pro series

K59 - Console style case, 5.9L, SFX and ITX, 310mm GPU. 47mm CPU cooler clearance at least. Also some extra space for GPU at at least 50mm

K66v2 - motherboard size increased 245x205mm, GPU increased to 200mm, also has a handle now. 55mm CPU cooler, uses ATX PSU's fan for exhaust

Yes. However, a case mainly relies on its air-in-air-out design to handle the heat problem. My guess is >98% by convection and perhaps 1-2% by conduction through the case panels.

I think most people would accept this little tradeoff to get a much lighter fibre carbon case for better transportability. Actually, I think the case layout/features/aesthetics will decide.

Any fan is probably going to help. The question would be their use cases. I don't think there are many cases where getting one of these would be better than just getting a regular fan of the same size.

Blower fans usually are quite noisy, especially when spinning fast. The 4020 fan does not specify but the 4010 says it is 24-26 dBA at max speed of about 5000rpm. For comparison, an Noctua 40x10 fan generates 20 dBA at max 5000 rpm.
But, I think the weakest link is its airflow volume. I expect it to be around 0.07-0.09 m3/min at max rpm. For comparison, an Noctua 40x10 gives about 0.14 m3/min.

Having said all these, I suppose when you really need ventilation at tight spots, these blowers should still be useful.

I agree with you, thanks for your explanation. It might be too noisy or produce not enough airflow to be worth it in a lot of cases. Was hoping it could help with my RVZ02 case, as the chamber doesn't have a reliable way to vent out the heat from the CPU cooler. There is a long strip of vents above the IO shield at the back so this idea popped up.

I see your concern about heat from the CPU cooler.
Suggest you check the orientation of your CPU cooler.
If possible, install the cooler with its fins pointing to that long strip of vents so that roughly half of the exhaust will go in that direction and escapes the case. This is better than having the fins running parallel to the strip of vents.
See the 2 pics below for illustration. Pic #1 is not ideal while pic 2 shows a better orientation.
