Wait, I thought the first rule of NDA was "don't talk about NDA" ? Someone's gonna sue you for leaking the word "alpha" and the game's name in the same sentence !
Depends on the NDA and the project.
Some stuff they definitely don't want you to even mention the existence of a project or your involvement, others (usually stuff closer to release) you can mention your involvement, but no details.
Also enforcement varies. NDAs for game betas are a checkbox that carries the same weight as the EULA you never read (ie. depends on the jurisdiction but usually not all that enforceable), and the most they do is give you a stern warning if you talk. Other stuff they send you an actual contract and get very angry if you spill the beans (for example, when I was under NDA with Petroglyph Games, they sent me a several pages contract I had to initial, sign and date)

This is what I've been up to for the past week lol.

This is from Indy PopCon (ended yesterday). Had to set all this up and run it over the week. A lot of fun, but man I am exhausted. Figured some people would find it interesting. We had 80 pcs (40 Alienware Alphas, 40 Alienware Aurora R4s), 40 ps4s, 10 xbox ones, 30 wiis, 4 PSVR stations, and 8 racing simulators at the show. It was the smoothest convention we have ever done, cant wait for the next one (GenCon in August)

Had to open the PC today. Might as well try out the commander pro while I'm at it

Not sure if I should move the probe closer in somehow? At idle the motherboard says 35 and the probe says 36.2, but a quick run of prime95 the motherboard says 77 while the probe says 45.3

Do you have pictures of the setups? What wheels/pedals were used?

Congrats on the smooth setup. Large events like those are incredibly taxing especially if you run into an issue.

Ill get you some info tomorrow, I dont have any but ill be in the warehouse tomorrow and can get you some pics and part numbers.

This is actually the smallest convention of the year lol, GenCon is 3x larger. As an example just based on PCs, PopCon had ~80 and GenCon has ~192 pc setups.

Are you based in central Indiana?

Based in Terre Haute. Used to have a location in Central Indiana but it was closed a month or two ago (not a good location). Now we have 1 store and do consultation for new LAN centers and setup showcases like at Best Buys while also developing Software to help LAN centers. Might be opening another store or two soon tho.

Messed around with bending/painting some scrap acrylic and some spray paint I had lying around. Turns out 6.35 (1/4'') acrylic is actually quite manageable in terms of heating and bending! I'll need to experiment with the bending radius a bit more (bent it using a chamfered table top as a guide), it was a little too tight and caused the bend areas to be slightly warped on either end. Definitely using this for a unique look on my next case :):). What do you guys think?

It even matches with my phone!

Tested out the new drysuit and regulators in the pool. No leaks in the suit, seals all fit, regs breathe fine. Still need to gather all the little gadgets, fettles and geegaws needed (clip for octopus, cords for torch & gauge, etc) and the weight pockets and BC hose are still somewhere in the logistical aether, but pretty much ready for a dive in a few weekends time. Just need to get a dive computer sorted.
