Hi all, just wanted to share my latest build/design. i have in a way been designing it for several years, which included making and welding it out of metal. this latest one though is significantly closer to what i dreamed it to be: Which was a portable desktop for use around the house/visiting others/holiday etc, as I get frustrated about the lack of cooling, noise, and cost of laptops for the performance you get.

Specs:
- Can fit two 120mm or 140mm fans.
- CPU cooler height depends on the fan fitted above, if a 25mm mm 140 or 120mm fan is fitted to the case, then the CPU cooler has around 40mm height available.
- GPU up to 230mm long, dual slot. So 5060 Ti 16GB is probably the best off the shelf option.
- The monitor can fit by VESA mounting it and can take a 16". This fits on a lid as such which allows you to open it like a laptop, but then bring the monitor forward if you wish and rest it at whatever angle back on the case.
- Flex atx PSU's or HD Plex 200W psu's are recommended. I have a 450w modular Enhance model flex atx unit fitted which works really well.
- Mini ITX motherboards, but not those with the rear IO built into the heatsink etc.
- Case has multiple cable tie points design in, spaces to run wires in and out of the case, fitted hex standoffs which are easy to replace and provides fixings for the motherboard, GPU and latches.
- Can be shut, unplugged from the power and picked up by it's strap.
- 3D printed in PETG, so it has a robust finish with heat resistant properties.
- A webcam can be fitted using a 1/4 inch bolt at the top of the monitor 'lid'. I have mine connected to a USB header inside the case and cable run neatly/secured and not to the motherboard IO.
- I neatly run the monitor cable from the IO area into the case and out the rear and run it/secure it to the channel leading up the monitor lid.

It takes about 3 days to 3D print and I have printed several as I have identified issues and resolved them.

Would love to hear what you think, and any ideas to develop it further. Thanks! 👍
