Discussion SOLVED! Issues adding photos (media)

Hello all,
I am having issue uploading images for my concept post SKARVOR Frame0_
Attempting to input images via the URL method I receive "Image cannot be loaded from the passed link", and I cannot determine how to upload images to my media (or create an album).
Could someone provide guidance on either method?

You can also use a free image host, like Imgur (thanks to @ignsvn): https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/how-to-upload-post-image-in-the-forum-using-imgur.15817/

How I've done it is with the "Media" button up top and then "Add Media". I then need to make an album if I don't already have one. Determine if you want everyone, registered members or specific members be able to view the album (not sure if it also limits the images linked). It requires an image already being added as well.

To add an image to a post, you need to find the "Gallery embed" button on the very end of the post toolbar (camera icon), it's behind the three dots. Then it should appear like my image above.

Thanks all!
Is SFF.net setup to only allow 3rd party platforms like IMGUR, asking as I host the images on my website and was curious why I was unable to use that as an off-platform host.

Hmm, I do not have the "Add Media" option under the top menu, nor does importing IMGUR links work for me (same error message as I was receiving from my website upload).
Is my account blocked? It's been a long time since I regularly surfed SFF.net logged in :/

The "Add Media" button probably not visible because you're not a paid subscriber/supporter. Your account may have been limited in features because of long term inactivity or low post count, so I would expect this to be resolved soon if you keep being active.

EDIT: I'm seeing you are hosting images from your HTTP (not HTTPS) hosting. This might be the issue as well. I recommend solving the lack of a certificate as any visitor will also be presented with a warning about the website's security.

Thank you all for the help, I was able to resolve the issue by indeed updating my website to HTTPS, and then using the "Insert Image" post function to reference the HTTPS image links!
