Just wanted to share that I used method 1 on the newer USB4 version of the board and it works fine at 12v

Hi quick question, was planning a build using the LOP-12 psu, trying to determine how the psu switches on? Is it always on when power is connected so you would need a switch on the back or does it switch on when it detects current draw?

It powers on when connected to input power (wall)

I’m building an X300 setup with an M.2 riser powered by a Mean Well LOP-300 12 V supply. I need a load switch (or MOSFET power switch) to completely shut off the 12 V to the riser. Any off-the-shelf modules or proven designs you’d recommend?
