Interesting. I may have to experiment, as my case is currently shipping with one vented, and one windowed. I may have to order another vented panel if temps get high enough to cause any concern. How high if you don't mind me asking? As we're running the same gpu (strix 2080 ti) it would be a good benchmark for me to go off of.
I want to say a 5-10 increase. Not a whole lot really. Most important thing to me is sound so any lower temp that keeps the fans down a bit, is good for me.
You wont have much issues with the Strix. The cooler is just great on it.

I think I’ll stick to one vented one windowed as well, and order another vented down the line if temps make me uncomfortable.

This one a concern of mine as well, but my thinking was that the solid panel may cut down on some noise as well. Great to hear that it’s nothing serious! But as the user below said, I will monitor and react accordingly :)

Honestly, I never hear anything in my system. Maybe in a game like Metro I can hear the gpu some but I use headphones so it's back to no sound again.
The 560 is the quietest case I have had. You wouldnt think so with it all open but it is.

Eagerly waiting for order page to go up! Here's my expected set-up, anything I should change? Going for an almost all-out build (aka not going for 3950X or 2080 Ti... yet):

Case: Sliger SM580 - White
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
Mobo: ASUS ROG Strix X570-I Gaming
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200 CL16
PSU: Corsair SF600 Platinum w/ pslate custom cables
GPU: NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2080 FE
Storage: Samsung 970 EVO 2TB

Cooling:
  • Windowed panel on motherboard side
  • Vented panel on GPU side
  • NZXT Kraken x62 mounted top of case as exhaust
  • NZXT G12 + Corsair H55i + Noctua NF-F12 PWM chromax.Black.swap mounted bottom of case as intake
  • Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax.Black.swap mounted bottom of case as intake
All other PCs in the house are SFF (1xNode 202 as HTPC/VR machine, 2xSG13 for kids' gaming PCs), but I'm finally ditching fullsize on my main workstation for the first time since I built my first PC back in 1995. Also really excited about the new Ryzen chips - trying to cool my TR 1950x has been a challenge!

In case anyone hasn't been paying attention. It's July 4th here, and @KSliger is busting ass all day, like every day.
Thanks!
@aslidop It may not be needed but if I was building that, I would go with the SF750 over the 600, just to be on the safe side and maybe for future use.
I had the 600 in a build with a 2080 Ti, and it would power off sometimes.
edit. Personal preference but I wouldnt touch a FE with a 10 foot poll. I had one, and it was SO LOUD. The fan profile will not let the fans drop under 40% I think it is, so it's loud at all times basically.

The 2080 FE w/ G12 + H55i is pretty dang quiet so far. I have to use Argus Monitor to control fan speed based on GPU temp, but its working well in my full tower at the moment.

I literally just sent the order off for the SF600 - lets see if I can cancel for the SF750...
