The past month I've bought some stuff.
Dreame L40 Ultra vacuuming and mopping robot
Now I wanted it to not be dependent on internet and the manufacturer's app, Valetudo to the rescue. But for this I need a part that's open source and needs assembly.
Dreame Breakout PCB
This allows to root the robot so the Valetudo modifications can be installed. The soldering iron I had on hand didn't have small enough tips and not easily found tips. I also needed more help to get the fine soldering that's needed for this PCB, like flux, smaller soldering tin wire and better tip cleaning.
Soldering tools
It's a Fnirsi HS02-A that's powered by USB-C, I also got a GaN 100W USB-C brick to power it, it's about 5 seconds to heat it up to 370°C.
Raspberry Pi Monitor
I also jumped on the Raspberry Pi 15.6" monitor when it was launched, for now using it at 60% brightness because I have no spare USB-C charger available.
It's going to be a good partner for the Pi 400 I've had from day one as well.
