Which BIOS version did you come from to 3.70E? There are some versions that could 'cause a brick, e.g. stay away from 3.71!

As long as you don't have a way to boot UMAF with any BIOS above X300 1.90 (updated secure boot signatures on newer BIOS versions), I'd recommend to use X300 1.90C. I'm not sure atm if it's safe to flash X300 1.90C from 3.70E, I flashed from 3.60S. UMAF is required to change BIOS settings, because saving BIOS settings in the actual BIOS setup will cause a soft brick, where only removing the battery will help.
I'm not sure atm if X300 2.20 solves any issues with SoC/Uncore OC Mode and Curve Optimizer, haven't tried it yet.

My original BIOS version was P3.70B. I upgraded it to 3.70E using Instant Flash v2221 in the BIOS.
Currently, with version 3.70E, the system works fine when I install the original 3400G, and I’ve also reset the BIOS settings.

However, when I install the 5600GT, it still results in a black screen with no display, and the system keeps rebooting endlessly. I can only shut it down by removing the power.

Hm, AFAIR 3.70E should support the 5600GT. Could be a problem coming from 3.70B. 🤷🏻‍♂️
