some news about firmware??
my new experience is that my dvb-s2 is reseting via usb3activeHUB. now i use this stick above my second hub (usb2). there is works fine. but i used the stick for 1years always in the usb3-hub (with A300). i didnt watched sat for long time. so i do not know, if this problem is born with X300.

Here, latency settings and more at 4000MHz CL18 completely stable for Crucial Ballistix DDR4 SO-DIMM 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz CL16 memory sticks, tested with an AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G and Asrock X300M-STX(BIOS v1.58) motherboard (from DeskMini X300). I wrote in yellow more relaxed latency settings in case of instability coming from the memory controller in the InfinityFabric because having tested ten different Ryzen 4xxxGs, the quality/stability of their memory controllers could vary enormously from one processor to the next other and it does not matter the model (by this I mean that even if it is a 4700G/4750G with fully activated CPU and iGPU cores implies by that a general quality of superior silicon and well, in fact it doesn't have the slightest impact)
if we are unsure... we have to use the yellow values?

I can't hit 3600mhz on my Ballistix 3200mhz CL16 RAM (at least with decent timings), best I've got at CL16 is 3533mhz IIRC.
ATM i am just using XMP Profile with 3200 MHz and 1.35V.
Perhaps if you are set your setting to 3533 MHZ, that your timing is more better as 3600 MHz. (?) https://extreme.pcgameshardware.de/...-crucial-ballistix-bitte-um-kontrolle.597823/

now i have rebooted. Set zo 3533MHz. I try now Battlefield 4. I will answer than is this post.
I played 30min SC2 and 30min BF4. works with with 3533MHz. Thank you 4 your hint!

Yes, use the values in yellow (initially, and you can try to refine it afterwards, after all depends on the final quality of the RAM chips that were soldered on your kit) and for the rest you have all the necessary values in my screen to make your Crucial Ballistix SO-DIMM 3200MHz CL16 to 4000MHz CL18 works, and for your information the RAM frequency has a much more influence than the main ones timings on the overall performance of your configuration and especially on the performance of the VEGA iGPU which is much more fond of maximum RAM frequency than ultra-tight latencies.

Hi guys,

I have A300, sometimes it has problem with power switch.

When power switch pressed, the cpu won't turn on, hd led and power led just off, it was like the power was not connected.

I have to pressed it a few times before it can turn on. Sometimes, this also won't work.

I have to disconnected cable from power brick and reconnected again, then pressed power switch on cpu to make it on.

Anyone has the same problem? What is wrong? Any hint to solve this?

The minimum version of AGESA v1.1.8.0 to start/ boot the processor 5000G is published on the official slide of AMD

I'm considering purchasing a new X300 and 5600g this week, but concerned how I'd be able to update BIOS without a CPU, any idea or would I basically be out of luck trying to get this working?

I don't know if it has USB flashback but I know that some e-stores can flash the latest bios for you when you purchase a motherboard/barebone. It's cheap and saves time with newly release CPU.

I picked up an X300, 3200G, and 5700G last night @ MicroCenter. Everything works exactly as I'd expect with the 3200G - I installed it, it booted right up the very first time (connected via DP), BIOS flashed 1.70 fine, etc. Shut it all down and installed the 5700G and it all went sideways. I could not for the life of me get it to actually boot (or so I thought). I had it apart and back together multiple times, swapping back with the 3200G which always worked. Finally gave up and installed an OS etc using the 3200G.

Woke up this morning and decided to give it another try. I managed to get it to briefly display something via DP one time so I knew it was capable of posting. I dug out an HDMI cable and switched to HDMI. It's still not 100% reliable but I can generally get it to function using HDMI. DP still has not worked at all aside from the one very brief moment.

Am I crazy to be suspecting the CPU at this point?

I should have 5700G today, currently running 4650G, so I will answer soon :)
