I had to give up on the X300 BIOS. I'm back to A300 3.70, due to video playback issues.
In windows task manager, Performance tab, select "Video codec 0" on the dropdown of one of the graphs and you will see 100% utilization of the codec when a youtube video freezes. According to a report on reddit, it's a bug in the latest AGESA versions.

There is no BIOS with an agesa that'll support the 5000G series. Maybe closer to release, though with the X300 and the Max, I can see ASRock losing interest on the A300 pretty quickly.

Can I clarify, I can just download and flash the latest AGESA 1.2 Bios (1.60) for the X300 and a 4650G will work no problems? I don't need an intermediate chip (2XXXG or 3XXXG)?

What is changed from A300 to X300? Only the outside of case design.... what i have to think about Ar$eR0ck? tja... whatever.
Newest X300 UEFI Firmware from JEZ is Version 1.61 <-- someone tested it? ATM i use 1.58. With 1.60 i had very often auto-reboot as I played a short StarCraft Match... and the autoreboot-problem was directly solved as I re-flashed 1.58

You didn't even need to update the BIOS, the X300 has supported the Renoir APUs since the first BIOS.

The X300 supports the 4000G series out of the box, the A300 requires beta bios version 3.60R or 3.60S. No need to flash X300 bios on A300.

you have good temp-settings? with "normal" setting my Deskmini is auto-resetting, because temp-problem. (i think so) ( i do not have temp-overlay to check) my cooler : Noctua-NH-L9a-AM4-Topblow

auto-resets are known to happen due to the AMD drivers, I had them and installing this version fixed it: https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/...000-series-desktop-processors/amd-ryzen-7-pro
should say my sudden reboots happened on a 4750G.
thank you, but i am using linux. driver problems hmmmmm this problem i felt first time as i flashed X300 Firmware >1.58
As i had try 1.60 I had this problem after reboot and 1-2mins on desktop and played StarCraft2 for max. 3Mins..... auto-reboot.
Yesterday I had try 1.70. So I direct start Starcraft 2... for ~3Mins... auto-reboot.
Now, I again using 1.58 again..... yepp doubleagain... After that sometimes auto-reboot with 1.58 too. as like as with Battlefield 4. If I some change bad temp-settings in UEFI?!?!?
All auto-resets were just if playing games.
So it could problem with "WINE"? Or UEFI is trashing? Or I have a heat-problem... ;(((

What are your CPU and GPU temps when it resets?

For me the resets happened outside gaming (I don't game on this one) I'm still on 1.60 BIOS.

Also are you OC'ing? you might be overloading the brick.

OC, yes, my RAM. How the temp is, when it reset. I do not know.

Try it without RAM OC, that could be the issue. the 1.35V is a bit limiting.

Failing that, whatever they fixed in the AMD graphics drivers, see if there's a similar Linux update? When I installed the Windows drivers I linked, the latest official drivers still caused resets, but the link seems to have a hotfix for the 4750G at least (maybe others).

RAM OC off. just XMP Profil loaded (3200MHz). VRAM 4GB, Firmware 1.70.
ATM no probs as like as Battlefield 4... if RAM OC Setting is troubleshooting... I need help ;((

Edit: so, now I have played some hours. No auto-reset problems. I am confused. Why I had before downgrade to 1.58 not this problem? tjoo...
here my just now "old" unsetted RAM OC settings (perhaps someone have an idea)

I can't hit 3600mhz on my Ballistix 3200mhz CL16 RAM (at least with decent timings), best I've got at CL16 is 3533mhz IIRC.

Here, latency settings and more at 4000MHz CL18 completely stable for Crucial Ballistix DDR4 SO-DIMM 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz CL16 memory sticks, tested with an AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G and Asrock X300M-STX(BIOS v1.58) motherboard (from DeskMini X300). I wrote in yellow more relaxed latency settings in case of instability coming from the memory controller in the InfinityFabric because having tested ten different Ryzen 4xxxGs, the quality/stability of their memory controllers could vary enormously from one processor to the next other and it does not matter the model (by this I mean that even if it is a 4700G/4750G with fully activated CPU and iGPU cores implies by that a general quality of superior silicon and well, in fact it doesn't have the slightest impact)
