understood. I've recently got a 3090 FE so I'm considering PSU upgrades over the SF750, don't want the PSU to be tripped up during full load. Since 160mm is the hard limit, Silverstone ST1200-PTS seems to be the best option - 80+ platinum, 1200W and just 140mm in length
Yeah, that one is my favorite! Although focus 1000w I used is also a beast, never seen fans turn on even with vega pulling 380w and 5800x

it seems I can get local availability on both the Focus 1000W and the ST1200-PTS. any experience with SX1000? Tom's hardware review says they tested it at close to 1500W and it passed so in an SFX-L closure that would be amazing as well, though I'll have to order from overseas.

Sorry, I don't have any first hand experience. I only have focus gold 1000w and prime gold 1200w, and they are awesome although prime doesn't fit into N-ATX. I believe in Silverstone, they seem to make great psu's.
