No, I replaced the original Frontheader (Usb 2.0/Firewire/Audio) with a Usb 3.0 one.

My rack. It's from 1995, made in New Zealand and is beige (and is number #6 made of this model). Filled with some fun home lab type gear. It's messy, filled with mostly junk but it's mine.

Re-capped Linksys/Cisco gbit switch,
DIY NAS (FM2+ board, quadcore, 16GB RAM, FreeNas, and about 5tb of storage after softRAID,
home game server in an ML03 with a 6c12t Xeon in a chinese X79 board
1U awaiting a CPU and power supply - probably will use this for some IP cameras
a pair of DeskMini GTX cases with not GTX hardware inside - currently offline awaiting a purpose
HP 10/100 switch for the lols
pair of free to me Eaton 5110 UPS (came with dead cells. $20 per cell so that's $40 for 2x 700VA UPS. Nice.)
I have a KVM sitting on top of the case running to the RKM.

Serious question: what Xeon are you running?
I had firewire in my main PC for near a decade thanks to my Asus X48 Rampage Formula. Don't think I used it one single time. It didn't take long after that board launched for USB 3.0 to completely kill off FW.

Dunno really. It's never under full load and the fans are on quiet mode. Right now it's sitting at 45c under mild load with the box practically silent. I forgot which cooler I put on it - I think it's a NH-L9x65.
Max reported temp is 81c - probably during the middle of the day here which is very hot upstairs here in my office! Also, no case fans, because I forgot. Going to install a couple now >.>

Correction, max temp of the CPU is 81, NFI what it got up to. With some low speed case fans I'm hitting 62c max on quiet mode under stress-ng --cpu 12

that case is quite appealing! i LOVE the chassis component placement design, and the exterior looks nice even though it looks a bit "cheap"-ish. how much did it cost you? seems like it would be around 150$CAD for me!
Many sites sell Chieftec computer cases but this case is new and rare.
For reasons unknown to me, it's not for sale in many countries.
I got lucky. It's for sale at a local store near me (that's how I found it).
I paid approximately 90 USD including tax which is not bad but I feel it's is a little overpriced.
It does include a 250W PSU. I hope it will be enough but if not, then I will have to buy a more powerful PSU.
This case is bigger than most cases on this site. A little smaller would be better, but for me, it's not too big.
I can put it on my table and it does not feel like a big case. It's comfortable to carry in my hands. Not too heavy.
One warning. The front panel is all plastic and has plastic tabs. The plastic tabs clip onto the swing-out tray.
If you swing out the tray without removing the front panel, the plastic tabs could break. Be careful when opening this
case. If you are hasty and not paying attention, maybe you will break some plastic tabs.
This is a bit premature as I haven't even properly started my new build... but I just received my Sentry 1.1 (#83) in the mail today and I'm too excited to not post about it.

Lightweight & durable, great for the sit/stand frame.
Excellent monitor arm, easily holds this 39lb ultrawide.
