Panel Thickness

Hello everyone

I am currently looking into making my own (U)SFF case. I chose to make it out of aluminium as this material has a couple qualities which i like. I will use the Parvum Mod-Cubes to hold the case together so there is no frame as the Panels make up the whole structure.
The only problem I have is that I am not sure what thickness I should go for?

At least 1mm, and no more than 3mm unless you hate money.

1.5-2.0mm is a good middle ground between strength, weight, and cost.
