After the lackluster and lukewarm launches of 4060 and 5060 series, this is probably the best news about ITX SFF GPU in a while.

This does seem promising in terms of interesting custom cooler designs, but this reminds me of the PCBs of those bargain bin GT730 cards back in the day... Almost like this should have been an RTX 5050 at best.

If we compare with previous gens where for example, 2070 is better than 1080, or 3060 is better than 2070, then yeah I agree that the current situation is kinda grim.

It seems Nvidia has jumped performance of this series one tier higher than we would expect. Or if you're pessimistic like me, it feels like weaponized marketing leaning on frame gen tech to sell you basically the lower tier hardware for the price of the higher tier, of a generation that already had inflated MSRPs.

It does feel like a joke on gamers who leaned so far into framerate as a way to benchmark performance for them to push DLSS as a way to boost framerates. In General consumers aren't going to compare every spec against the whole range, they are going to see that 5060 is better than 4060. And with third party marketplaces it's so easy to end up paying more when you want to get something. Nvidia doesn't know it's competing with themselves largely by releasing generations so close to the previous.
