Very curious to see how these work in conjunction with a 240 rad. In my V5 I had to get the Dremel out and remove a lot of material from the front panel ports. In the end I got the XSPC slim rad to fit (with 15mm fans underneath).

One thing I do like about the V6 is the free flowing bottom panel. Would like to see the same on the side.
Well, the Type C and audio combo jack are a bit longer than the old ports. I pushed to get them as small as possible, but this was the best they could do.

For bottom rad setups, you'll probably want to run with the blank faceplate and ports removed entirely.

First unboxing video of the impact. Doesn’t show much but at least gives an idea of the dimensions of the board and dimm.2

What information do you want ? I have the Asus Impact DTX board and can tell the dimm.2 board feet with NH-C14S.

Just one problem :

the aluminum plate use as radiator for the ssd is putting too much pressure on the ssd and twists a bit. I will try with HCM PRO EVO.X V.2 radiators instead of the original aluminim plates.

I just wanna know if the dimm.2 card will interfere with the side mounted aio but I’m not sure you can tell me that since you’ve got an air cooler

Do you know what fan can you install between cpu and Noctua NH-C14 with low profile ram?

Like this:

And I see this image...

Is posible install 2x140 fans on bottom of case? and side fan bracket?

Thanks & Regards

This is not a full answer, but may help. The Noctua NH-C14S and the Thermalright Silver Arrow 130 are both symmetric in their width (the dimension spanned by the cooling fans - the vertical dimension when mounted in the M1 with a front to back airflow) with respect to the CPU. The NH-C14S is 140 mm wide and the Silver Arrow 130 is 120 mm wide. BTW, the "130" in its name matches its height of 130 mm. So for the same motherboard, the highest point of a Silver Arrow 130 should be 10 mm lower (0.5 x (140-120)) than a NH-C14S.

@Qrash Thank you so much for your reply. I've got the cooler now and installed it on the motherboard, so if this helps anyone the Thermalright Silver Arrow 130 cooler fits fine on a Gigabyte X570i motherboard. It clears the rear heatsink/IO and also doesn't go into the ram slot area.

Installation was fine but getting the fan on with the clips was a real pain, there are 4 clips provided and it should be possible to add other fans or even replace the middle one with a Noctua A12-25.

So far from open bench testing the thing runs great, fan is better at handling the sudden ramp up temps from a 3900X. Benchmark scores are all good and Intel Burn Test topped out at 83c.

Now I'm just waiting for the Ncase M1 V6 to get here!

Nice man looks awesome!! I am considering the same GPU and just wanted to ask, what are your thoughts on getting a thicker GPU with slim fans on the bottom vs. a thinner GPU and thicker fans? Was there any review or info that lead to you choosing this GPU in general?

Would love to see some results once you get it built as it is very similar to what I have lined up!

Cheers

yeah, to Germany ist (hopefully)

190€ the case
22€ shipping
40€ import VAT (19% on top of total price including shipping, here in Germany)
0€ customs, hopefully, computer hardware should be 0%
= 252€ total (277USD)

(if you are from EU: to calculate customs, u can look for a suitable number here https://www.tariffnumber.com, 8471 should be fine, and then, enter it here http://auskunft.ezt-online.de/ezto/Modus.do#ziel + TW for Taiwan, and then it says 0% )
