That card won't work in the M1 with a waterblock. The PCB is wider than standard, and when you add the waterblock the part with the ports extend out past the side panel. You need a card with reference-size PCB if you want a watercooled GPU in the M1.
Do you know if the 3080s are gonna be waterblock compatible in the m1?

Someone on Reddit ordered one of these and said it is 55mm to where the fittings attach. If you used Koolance low profile 90 degree adapter which are 20mm leaves 55mm which means it is going to be as close as you can get.
Thank you! I tried to search for it but didn't find it, do you have the link?

The reference GTX 3090 is quite large and will not fit in the M1. There's a possibility it could if it's deshrouded, but I wouldn't count on it.

The smaller reference GTX 3080 is a standard-sized card and shouldn't pose any problem for the M1.
I know that the reference cards are usually smaller in some ways but before the physical specs are announced we just wont know for sure. With that said, the gainward card leaks (https://videocardz.com/newz/gainward-confirms-geforce-rtx-3090-and-rtx-3080-phoenix-graphics-cards) noted that for the 3080 series of cards are 294mm long X 112MM wide @ with a 2.7 slot "cooler" and a 2 slot bracket. Assuming that this is in the ballpark of the reference cards, will this fit in the Ncase M1 V6.1? Also can someone update the page 1 GPU support list if the physical specs leak tomorrow so we can all start refreshing all the online vendor pages trying to nab one?

Fingers crossed that a watercooled 3090 will be significantly smaller than a founders edition. The PCB looks pretty compact at least.

pure speculation and opinions requested...Do you think adding extra bottom intake fans (Noctua) would aid the 30 series at all? Based on specs, the 3080 would fit with 2x 25mm on the bottom.

I was wondering the same thing, And I according to Optimum Tech's channel on the ncase m1 here the best air cooled configuration for the case is with 2 fans on the bottom, he uses Noctua Nf-F12 fans on the bottom but in a later videa swapped them out for NF-A12 premium fans which sadly at this time only come in noctua crap brown color until chromax line comes out next year. Given that the FE 3080 appears to be slightly thinner than the 2080 Super, These fans should s till fit on the bottom. I also ordered a smaller noctua fan for the rear of the case as an exhaust to assist with the new 3080 fan design and it should fit nested behind tha AIO of your choosing.
