So first one goes next to the psu, there is no place in the front ? I have to open mine and have a look again

On a side note, I got hold of a black ridge and have ordered a low profile memory, a noctua 12x15 will go underneath and the case allow for another 12x25 on top, I'm excited to see how much OC headroom this will allow

Seem to tight in front for the SSD. I just installed the black ridge and there is no way for another 25mm on top of it. I use it with a a9x14

I had an LP53 with 25 on top, donno why but i had in the back of my mind both heat sinks are the same height (without the fan that is)

The lp53 is about 25-30mm high heatsink and the blackridge is a 47mm tall heatsink.

Some photos of my build. Need to add in another 8Gb RAM and fit handle and power button, but final spec will be:

M69 case + PCI-E riser + 450W PSU = £120 approx after all parts, shipping and tax
Asus Prime H310i-Plus R2.0 = £40 (2nd hand, Facebook Marketplace)
Intel i5-8400 (Hex core) = £92 (2nd hand, eBay)
Noctua NH-L9i = £35 (new)
RAM = 16Gb DDR4 Corsair LPX 3000 = £47 (2nd hand £15 + £32 new)
GPU = AMD R9 Nano 4Gb = £80 (2nd hand)
SSD = SK Hynix 256Gb NVME= £30 (2nd hand)

Total cost of £444

Running Prime 95 and MSI Kombuster concurrently for 10 minutes with no additional case fans, the CPU reached 65C and the GPU 75C. This is both at 100% load. PC was audible but acceptable for such a small system. At rest it emits audible noise, but it's acceptable. I will record some videos tomorrow and post so you can hear the noise levels for yourself :)

This has been the easiest PC I've ever built. I was gaming inbetween building, but i reckon I could have had this fully assembled and booted in around 35-40 minutes.

Yea never seen a PSU like that. Definitely not your standard FlexATX.

I didn't know 450W can handle 90w i7 + 1080Ti :)
That PSU is likely some Chinese modded PSU. CNC/Metal cutting is relatively cheap in China.
I'd definietely not put a 90W i7 with a 1080 ti on it though. Maybe a 65W UV i9 9900 with 1080 ti

It's a Rackable Systems 3F27-45-1 450w. According to Wikipedia, turns out Rackable Systems is the company that bought Silicon Graphics in 2009 and changed their name to Silicon Graphics International, which was then bought by HP in 2016.

Will I don't think this PSU can handle my 2600 +1080ti is powers off about 3-5 mins into a prime 95 test, or about 7mins into a unigine valley test.

Which PSU did you end up getting, the Rackable one with 450w or different one ?

The PSU came with the case and modular silver plated cables.

sgi (model #: AHF5DV456W rev 2.0) (manufacturer part number: ECD13030003)

Pretty sure the SGI is the same. (early in the thread sgi bought rackable)

It's a nice compact case, I like it!

As far as the PSU, I followed the link and found a pic of the PSU with a label.

So my guess is, any of these PSUs floating around that have Rackable Systems labels are from 2009 and prior, and are all used, or new old stock (found a few on eBay and Google; cheapest one I found was $89).

They look perfect for SFF use, though!

Mine is labeled as 450w, it is still going strong
I just got a new 8pin cable that uses two pcie power connector will start using it instead of the one drawing of a single pcie connector.
Maybe that will help your situation.

I have a single 8pin to dual 8pin (6+2) pcie connector. Everything is stock. No OC yet. I may have to do a fresh install of windows to see if it is still an issue (this asrock b350 itx motherboard used to have a 1600, but I upgraded the bios for it) it also had a different GTX 1080ti (gigabyte windforce gaming OC) so maybe there is a driver issue? I'll have to look more into it next week.

GPU did run a little warm which was concerning since I put dual noctua nf-a9x14 chromax fan on it. 84c during the test before it re-started. No vbios mod yet.

For those who have the 1080ti mini in here what are your temps? Mine is at 84,°C with a noctua fan swap. Fresh thermalpaste(thermal grizzly Kryonaut) and thermal pads.
