Thanks. Just so you know, we have a Wiki, where listed information, like the motherboard name and features, would be excellent. It can be navigated to via the "Wiki" link in the navigation menu at the top of the page.

Wow, I didn't know these existed, and they're reasonably priced too. It definitely makes sense that the PCIe slot is at the other side than usual to point the GPU- and CPU-fan in the same direction.

If these are actual ASRock and GIGABYTE boards, why do they only sell them in China? There would definitely be demand for them in the rest of the world.

EDIT: Wow, most of the GIGABYTE ones are even thin mini itx!

Yes the Gigabyte and the B85m-SI01 and H81m-SI01 have a thin itx layout, but a 24pin connector.

Because most of this mainboards are for aio pc´s and aio barebones. The chinese guys detached them and sll them. Or they buy a lot of them at once.

Did you check the PCI 3.0 x16 slot functionality ? If you have, please tell if it is functioning optimally. Can it support a GTX 1080 8+8 pin ?

Mine is working at Pcie 3.0 16x :)
But you can send me your gtx 1080, just to make sure :D

Thank you very much for the response. Is your GTX 1080 single 8 pin or 8+8 pin ?

Also, does it allow for GTX 1080 overclock.

CPU over-clock is unavailable on B150 chipset

Also, please tell about the drivers and BIOS Updates for GIGABYTE B150M-PIO-H

I have just bought the H81m-SI01 to check if my idea and the shopping guide works.
Currently there is a GTX 960 pluged in and a XEON V3 1230 on top.

The bios is an UEFI in my case.
About the other boards you can find info at the website of the manufacturer

There is no information available about the GIGABYTE B150M-PIO motherboards on GIGABYTE website - so no BIOS update source.

Please tell the maximum DDR3 speed supported by ECS Elite H81M-SI01.

What do you think can be the best 88W TDP small form factor cooling solution for this motherboard for an HTPC build ?

Woot, this is great, are there any that are a full 16x? I can't find any in the list.

I'm pretty sure all of the motherboards listed have physical PCIe 3.0 x16 slots running at full bandwidth. Sorry, I probably misunderstood, but is this what you are asking?

I'm guessing there are no BIOS's available on Gigabyte's website because this is a very OEM oriented motherboard, and they would likely contact Gigabyte directly instead of going through their website and downloading them to flash drives or another device.

Since the ECS has a H81 chipset which doesn't support Memory overclocking AFAIK, you'll be limited to 1600 MT/S max ram (1600MHz).

I think this answer depends heavily on how much cpu cooler clearance you'll have. How far is it from the motherboard tray to the side of the case? Does the CPU cooler have a dedicated cutout in the panel to get air from, or does it have to pull it from inside the case? For example, look at K888D's testing of fans directly next to a solid surface. If you don't have vents, you'll want at least 20-25mm of space between the cpu cooler fan and the side panel, maybe even more.

Check this thread for more info.

if you look at this board and then compare it to something like this, it looks to me like the B150 has a smaller slot, but I could be wrong. Also, for the memory speed, most manufacturers state 1600 as the max. (source)

The PCIe slot looks to be a full size slot, just without the PICe retention clip at the end of the slot (for obvious reasons, as it is at a 90 degree angle.) Keep in mind this looks like a custom form factor that is bigger than mini-itx (look at the RAM slot size compared to the board.) On a mini-itx board, those RAM slots would take up the whole width of the board. Because the mobo is bigger, it makes the slot look smaller.

For RAM, I believe I said 1600? I thought that was the JDEC standard (which replaced 1333 for DDR3), which was the highest Intel officially supports w/o overclocking.

Interesting format : almost thin mini-itx.
Inversed PCIe x4 slot.

Ah that's why. The board is longer toward the ATX connector and it threw off my reference.
