This thread is designed to showcase various brands, sizes, and capacities of DC-ATX power supplies.

Included are the names, the dimensions, supported input voltage, and the advertised efficiency percentage.

Please feel free to submit any additions provided they meet Gold efficiency levels at the very least.
If you find any mistakes or information that needs adjustment please let me know.

Note: For the sake of your machine, Realan units have been excluded due to their extremely low efficiency ratings.

Note:
The G-Unique units can be hard to find because they are made to order. Guryhwa makes each unit by hand and can even make them to your specifications. The online search translation is really rough but the words "G-Unique" are written on the products. Here are a few other phrases that you may come accross: Guryhwa, G-Tyrant, G-Large, G-Line, G-Queen, G-Royal, G-Lord, G-Major, G-Wide, G-Special.

Desire a single power brick that can push 300-500watts?
They have that covered too, modded units are available in 330W, 400W, 450W, and 500W variants: http://nxtmarket.info/item/42291467405

When you buy a G-Unique unit, no additional power brick is needed as the correct unit is included with each purchase.

How to purchase from foriegn markets:
This is going to be touch and go depending on the site but @1461748123 has created an excellent tutorial to help you purchase items from Taoboa using Superbuy. You can check out the detailed guide here.

A very nice collection of DC stuff, something that's really appealing to the SFF community.

I just tacked that on as a measure of efficiency. Otherwise, there are quite a few cheap models that float around in the 80's in terms of efficiency.

Btw, the G-unique units are never in stock. They are DIY products, which means you have to contact guryhwa, who make all the G-unique units, to ask him to make one for you. All of the G-unique units are made and assembly in China, and since guryhwa included a power brick for you as well, you normally have to pay 40$ for shipping to the US. But even with the shipping cost, the price is still really competitive. The 400W slim unit cost me about 120$, plus the shipping comes to 160$. In comparison a hd-plex 250w cost you 85$, and you still have to spend about 90$+ to get a Dell da330PM111 power brick.

Did you use this table for that? Or did you assign different percentage values? If so, what are those? It's awesome that you did this, but it feels misleading to use efficiency labels like these if someone reading this can't determine what they actually stand for.

I simply used the effiency table included at the top of my post based of peak efficiency values at 50% load. Should I revise it to use that one instead?

I think including an efficiency figure (91%, 86%, etc.) it fine, but equating it to 80-Plus levels isn't really accurate because you also need to account for the efficiency of the AC-DC half of the equation.

Yes, this.

Ah ok, I'll go back and revise it.

There are many different AC-DC power bricks and they all have efficiency ratings of their own...maybe a large table to handle the two dimensions, but really, just letting people multiply two numbers together isn't that tough.

I updated the list to provide efficiency ratings to the best of my abilities with the information that is available online.

I would like to stress that for this process, I used the advertised efficiency rating and if the product was simply listed as Gold, Platinum, or Titanium, I chose to represent with ">9x%" (greater than the minimum value that efficiency rating would typically represent)

The site with the most accurate layout of PSU information (that I was able to find) was in Vietnam but they offer a very small selection of power supplies. Never the less, I will add them as another valuable resource in the main post:

Page for Power Supplies (avoid the Realan units): http://minicomputer.vn/linh-kien-may-tinh/nguon/board-nguon-mini/

Anyone tried one of the Turemetal units? I sure like the way they've chosen to heatsink their units.

I personally haven't but I agree, it's definitely a slick looking unit.

I also like how the 500 watt G-Unique 500w HiFi unit mounts with it's heatsink in an ATX slot.

On another note, Guryhwa also makes (made? 2013) a 400 watt unit that mounts in an SFX slot (LZ27 build with a larger than normal HSF anyone?) but I couldn't find it on any of the sites so I didn't include it above. That being said, from what I can understand it appears to be exclusive to the Asus Z87 Deluxe motherboard based on the silkscreen printed on the connector.

I've no clue is he offers any other SFX formats.

Just adding to the mix, G-Unique also makes some awesome pico-like PSUs.
There are a lot of different models of such kind of PSU listing in guryhwa's store, I will list them here as well:

  • G-Unique Devil Plug&Play 120w/150w (pcb height 22mm)
    • Default - No Capacitors on the back side, having a heatsink instead
    • Silver Editon - With 12 Sanyo SVPF/SVPC aluminium solid capacitor on the back
    • Black Edition - With 12 Sanyo POSCAP TPE/TPB surface mount tantalum electrolytic capacitor on the back
    • Gold Edition - With 12 KEMET T520 KOtantalum electrolytic capacitor on the back
  • G-Unique Archdevil Plug&Play 120w/150w/180w/220w/300w/ (pcb height 24mm)
    • Default - No Capacitors on the back side, having a heatsink instead
    • Silver Editon - With 12 Sanyo SVPF/SVPC aluminium solid capacitor on the back
    • Black Edition - With 12 Sanyo POSCAP TPE/TPB surface mount tantalum electrolytic capacitor on the back
    • Gold Edition - With 12 KEMET T520 KOtantalum electrolytic capacitor on the back
  • G-Unique Short Plug&Play 120w (pcb height 12.7mm)
  • G-Unique Venus Plug&Play 300w/400w (pcb height 24mm) - Asus RoG impact only (rog's special layout allow combining both a 24pin for motherboard and an 8 pin for cpu on one PCB.)
