Specifically, this is the Walkinshaw edition, developed by a Aus race driver.

Fun factoid, you were close with Skyline in any case, as this generation of Holden Commodore used the Nissan RB 6 cylinder engines alongside the General Motors V8s. The RB30 from this gen is used quite often as a basis, along with an RB25DET head, to make an RB30DET engine, a behemoth power junkie of a thing

If it hadn't been for @riba2233 clue I never would have guessed, I just started looking at random images of Alfa Romeros. I have to say it is a beautiful design and I love the ITBs visible through the rear window.
