Completed DeskNano x300 - a 1.2L replacement for the DeskMini a300/x300

Discovered this superb print models recently and tried to mount my X300 config into it.
It wasn't so easy sometimes to fit all in it but I manage even install the two extra USB port.
I had to remove some plastic here and there, also drill the holes and create the spaces for the USB port because I'm not a 3D designer

The second nvme was heating to much when playing games so I add a little noctua 4cm wide on the back.
It is a bit too high so I use little soft plastic washers to be able to place it nicely in the case.
The space made was used to let the cable travel until the pins on the top of the carboard.

At the end I'm very satisfied of the result, really better than the original black case, which is solid but really lack of aesthetic.

The power button is connected showing the drive work because the plugs for the pins were too big to fit aside each other for showing the power light.

I have add mesh grid inside and a ventilator grid on the Noctua L9.
There are two vent grills because the screw length was too long to tight the mesh well on the vent so I put the second that went with the purchase on aliexpress.

What temp were you getting without the fan?

Probably all good, but the white mesh seems to be very restrictive to airflow.

Agreed that mesh will reduce dust but it'll also keep it warm inside

Pretty much the same, except that its easier to find officially rated high speed memory on ITX. Since Ryzen APU performance scales so well with memory (up to 30% more fps), you have to get a little lucky on overclocking the memory to hit speeds above 3200mhz. Whereas on ITX you can buy a 3600 or 4000mhz kit pretty easily.

I can't say that about 64 GB ( 2 x 32 gb) SO Dimm Kits the fastest I was able to find was only 3200 mhz cl 20.

I think that was the point - UDIMM kits are easy, SODIMM kits are much harder to find high-performing ones

Hey, glad it worked out for you. I like the aesthetics of the white mesh. If you didn't already, putting the pics on Printables would be awesome too!
