1. So the i7-8700k is recognized by the BIOS. What about the i7-8086k, do you know if it will be recognized by the BIOS?
2. What is the CPU fan speed set for in the BIOS?
Not to come off as snarky, but why buy an 8086k for a build like this (or at all, really)? Outside of pure 1-core loads it performs
exactly like the 8700k (same turbo speeds from 2 cores onwards), even if the better binning is likely to give a couple of watts reduction in power draw (not enough at stock clocks to make a difference thermally). The only reason to buy an 8086k is for heavy overclocking, other than that it's an overpriced, underperforming (for the price) vanity piece.
