Not to come off as snarky, but why buy an 8086k for a build like this (or at all, really)? Outside of pure 1-core loads it performs exactly like the 8700k (same turbo speeds from 2 cores onwards), even if the better binning is likely to give a couple of watts reduction in power draw (not enough at stock clocks to make a difference thermally). The only reason to buy an 8086k is for heavy overclocking, other than that it's an overpriced, underperforming (for the price) vanity piece.

The 8086k is just a binned 8700k, not a new cpu so it will be compatible with any 300 series motherboard.
