Compared to Deskmini 110:
1. Wifi support Intel® CNVi module now (9560 is supported!)
2. M.2 support both NVME and SATA SSD
3. Two PWM fan connectors (110 only have one, and the other is 5pin cannot be used directly)
4. SD Card Socket (Supports SDXC Card (3.3V))

But I think there is still things can be done:
1. Remove SATA port. (Cooler can have extra 1cm height, or chassis 1cm thiner)
2. Another M.2.
3. Chassis like Deskmini GTX

While I am looking forward to this and would probably get one, I was a bit disappointed at the lack of changes in some aspects. Personally while the sd slot is nice, I would've rather seen something like a second m.2 or thunderbolt 3 support if a change were going to be made. I don't know how much more expensive it would've been, but it would be interesting if they ditched the 110/310 line and eventually only made one Deskmini, only with one not shipped with GPU and another one shipped with it however I know that would also make the chassis larger here which defeats the purpose for those of us who want the smaller size since our needs here don't require dedicated graphics.

I built one of these (well, the 110) for my Wife. Bought a 7350k off craigslist for $70 and added an 512g HP EX920. The thing boots up in about 3 seconds. I would build another in a second. Great post.
