Chassis and Rear I/O are same as Deskmini110
wifi support CNVi now
ID-Cooling VC45 with ty100 fan
Chassis compared to Hibertek M5 L5
Power adapter is AcBel ADC027, 120w, same as Deskmini 110.
Dimension is 150*65*36mm, 600g weight, Efficiency 89% @ 115/220Vac max. load
SD Card slot:
Audio slot will interfere with some wide m.2 heatsink.
Run 4 days now, very stable.
Awesome build. Glad to see another DeskMini fan! The Thermalright cooler shows exactly the amazing scale these systems have.
This looks great!
What model/brand heatsink are you using on your nvme SSD?
I'm using this: https://item.jd.com/16188224168.html
Have to ask: do you actually need a heatsink on the drive? What kind of loads are you subjecting it to? What temperatures are you seeing?Especially with it positioned right in the airflow path from the CPU cooler, one would think that thermal throttling would be a non-issue.
It's very useful. SSD will overheat frequently, and thin heatsink also not help much when copying large files.
Hm, interesting. What brand/model is the SSD? I do have a (much!) larger case, but my 960 Evo lives behind the motherboard with very little access to air, no heatsink, and the only air intake in my case is through a radiator, but I've still never seen ti exceed 75C even when stress testing.
I'm using Samsung 970 Evo. I tried copy over 100G large files, there is throttling due to overheat.
Well, if that's something you do often, I suppose you're one of those edge cases that actually might have need for an SSD heatsink then
Where can I get the ty100 fan?
I buy the AXP100RH
The I/O shield is not on properly where the power connector is. The clip should be inside the case.
1. So the i7-8700k is recognized by the BIOS. What about the i7-8086k, do you know if it will be recognized by the BIOS?
2. What is the CPU fan speed set for in the BIOS?
