Hey all,

My google-fu is proving futile on this one. Has anyone seen an aftermarket chassis offered for the DeskMeet motherboard's unique form factor?

It kind of looks like 'Deep-ITX', which is 6.7"x8"...but the only things that properly support that off the shelf are probably servers. Could probably 3D print something out of ABS...

It probably has to be custom made, if it exits at all.
This Asrock Deskmeet is so recent and the mobo size is so unique. So, the demand has to be extremely small.

Perhaps a solution is to just get another Deskmeet case?
Eg there is this broken unit for sale in its as-is condition. The 599 RMB is about 138 NZ$. Not too bad. But then there is the shipping cost too.

I have been looking into this for a while. Your best chances are either the Sugo SG05/SG13/SG16, the FormD T1 (You might need to move the PSU) or the Shiny Snake (KXRORS) G200/S400.

You also will need to figure out how to move the front IO.

Dude. I was literally just thinking of Protocasing something for mine lol. My NJ450 is on tap and I'm still using the stupid included PSU.

@confusis Following my previous post, here’s some close ups of my SG05. You want something like this that has enough extra room past the ITX mount.

You will also need something like this for the front IO: https://www.scan.co.uk/products/300...o-2x-type-a-(male)-inc-pci-passthough-bracket

Good call on the SG shoeboxes @Analogue Blacksheep ! I have a hacked SG06 in my attic, but fear it woudl be prohibitive to send to @confusis in NZ 😢

In my mind, the Deskmeet board is a bit like a Shuttle PC motherboard, ITX but longer.
If it fits (I'm sure I read somewhere that later Shuttle cases could take ITX boards), you could have a stealth Shuttle upgrade

ATX PSU in a smallish case? I still don't get that thinking

Hmmmmm, been a while since I played with a Sugo! I'd hate to lose the front IO, but there are ways around that...

I’m sure ADT Link has usb cables that could work here.

Or alternatively you could make a custom front panel?

I'll likely make a custom front panel, or cut holes in the existing one (if I can find it)

The ports line up practically perfectly if I was to use a thin metal front panel - amazing coincidence really

Well, I guess power supply will be the main hurdle in this case (heh). Card is my RTX2060 TUF, fastest thing I own. HDPlex 400w DC-ATX just won't have any room for cables. Hmmmm

Determination, drill bits, and depinning the EPS 8pin to make it an old skool 4 pin has netted me this. Unfortunately the ATX cable is a disaster, but that's the best combination I have on hand at the moment.
