There is more news than just the 250-watt replacement, just to keep everyone informed:
Dear Customer,
Thanks for signing up for the HDPLEX 200W combo back-in-stock notification.
HDPLEX just released the world's smallest ATX PSU: the HDPLEX 250W GaN ATX PSU.
250 watt PS
This all-in-one 250W fanless ATX PSU will replace HDPLEX 200W Combo.
HDPLEX 200W ACDC is discontinued and will not be manufactured again.
HDPLEX 200W DCATX will have new version later this year to support 12V-30V input.
HDPLEX Fanless 250W GaN aio ATX PSU will start shipping next month.

Thank you!

More: based on my questions to Larry about 19V DC's status:
400W AC has also been discontinued and will not be manufactured again.
I will release 500W AIO GaN ATX to replace the 400w combo.
400W DCATX will still be manufactured.
On Fri, May 27, 2022
So no more 19V options at 200+ watt? So no plans to do a GAn at 19V?
So the 400 is the only 19V option and has been out of stock for some time?

I would write directly to Larry at HDplex as to the daisy chain question on the 500 and adding a 250 to make 750, and, in my opinion,
1000 watts is true overkill for SFF even with the power-hungry 12th gen and the new full-length video cards. (Not to mention heat!)

Did Larry really said 12V?

Now that is amazing news. No more 12V vs 19V wars. A single plugin board to rule them all. During my testing the old one, stated at 16-30V still works at 14V. Would be awesome if it can use 12V and run cooler at the same time.

From business perspective, I get that their internal bricks are rather uncompetitive. Bricks are cheap nowadays, e-waste level even.

Not quite. The planned 200W DCDC ATX will take wide voltage input, but still only gives 12V ATX output. Those of us with Thin ITX boards are now stuck with external power bricks.

So what do the AIO systems use? I can't believe they use an external brick to power the internal PC and the monitor?

There are all range of internal bricks; open frame to enclosed. Meanwell PSUs for example. They are available in adjustable voltage outputs. So getting 19V IN isn't exactly hard. Hdplex's acdc offering, while nice and robust, costs twice as much back then.
