Log Advice on Pico/HDplex PSU selection

Hi all,

I would like to build a setup with only one motherboard, only using m.2 storage & iGPU.
I was thinking to use a very small, like Pico PSU or HDplex 250W but without any exterior power brick.
Flex, SFX are too big.

Since my NFC S4 Mini (2016), my knowledge on pico PSU/HDplex should be pretty outdated..

What will your advices please?

You referring to pico atx (dc-dc) psu or the Pico-box GaN psu?

oh? So what is recommended for those cases too small for other psu options? There are quite a few cases designed for APU only use that depend on dc-dc power supplies.

id think at least a few of the options are acceptable for such usage in lower powered systems.

If you don't like external brick, just mount it inside your case or have a look at the open frame LOF / LOP industrial PSUs from MEANWELL / MORNSUN ... but then we are already close to the volume of the HDPLEX 250W GaN
