Hi all

been a long time since ive build anything so need advice on motherboard/cpu combination.

The PC will mostly be used for internet, office, video, downloading, a little Photoshop/illustrator. only gaming done is football manager and cities skyline- non-graphical games
The PC is on all day every day but wont be overclocked/stretched.
Most of the build is done. i wanted high quality, trusted components but now i need to think about the best motherboard cpu combo that will do everything i need. My thoughts were i5 with a asrock itx motherboard, but now amd has the vega graphics. Not looking for a graphics card- onboard only.
Also i have no idea whether i need a H370 or Z370 or X470 etc etc.
basically im stuck and would love some advice.

If you go intel and you don’t plan to over click then “h” series motherboards are probably what you want. If you go amd (which would be my recommendation) b350 or b450 will do just fine and even let you overclock a little. Just make sure the motherboard you get supports the apu you get. Also your I don’t think your l9i will fit amd, so if you do that you may need an adapter from noctua.
