Power Supply Best way to implement Pico-Box X7-ATX-500?

I want to use the Pico-Box X7-ATX-500 power supply in conjunction with a dell 330W AC adapter. However, the X7-At-500's barrel connector is on the back of the PCB.

The issue is that I want to mount the X7-ATX-500 on the side panel of a case, but I want to plug in the AC adapter in the back of the chassis (I don't want a power cable sticking out the side of my case). Does anybody have any suggestions about the best way to extend the the barrel connector from the X7-ATX-500 so that I can connect the AC adapter to it in the back of the case?

Edit: I also meant to mentioned that I want to power a R9 Nano & i7 5820k with this setup. Is this completely unreasonable? PcPartpicker puts the max TDP of my whole system at around 376W, but I'm assuming that it will never actually draw that much. If its unreasonable is there another way to power the system that would be better? I don't to build a case big enough to fit a bigger PSU.

X7-ATX-500 is split into two rails and needs two power bricks to work, it is basically two smaller units crammed onto one PCB. you might be better using either two of the new X3-ATX-300 they are making right now without a power plug on the back or in combination with something like the Z4-ATX-200. HDPLEX 250W is also an option.

It will be impossible to run the R9 Nano & CPU on a single power brick like the Dell 330W or HP Firebird 350W as a few members of this forum have already tried and have provided feedback, there is some success using dual bricks the details of which you can find in other threads already.

X7-ATX-500 is split into two rails and needs two power bricks to work, it is basically two smaller units crammed onto one PCB. you might be better using either two of the new X3-ATX-300 they are making right now without a power plug on the back or in combination with something like the Z4-ATX-200. HDPLEX 250W is also an option.

Wow, thanks so much! I'll check those other threads out. It looks like I might have to get a lower TDP card, as I really don't want to run 2 power bricks.

GTX970 is the most powerful ITX sized card you can could run off a single DC brick right now with CPU included, but if your not limited to short cards you might be able to do a GTX980, however because your CPU is a power hungry beast at 140TDP you might even have trouble with a GTX970 as it is, typically people have been pairing them with i7-6700 at 65TDP without problem, i7-6700K at 91TDP is starting to push limits of the HDPLEX 250W. The coming X3-ATX-300 might be your best shot, I have the prototype sitting on my desk right now and will be taking it for a spin shortly, I will be sending it on to some other forum members to test on greater loads but I am not sure when a retail version will be ready.

Yeah, it looks like the new X3-ATX-300 and something Polaris/Pascal might be in my future. Do you have any idea when the new X3-ATX-300 will be released to the public? I'm loving the look of the new one, it looks like exactly what many of us have been looking for.

The retail version of X300 is under mass production now and would come to market in July. We have another product named X3-ATX-300, so this time we use X300 as the model name.

I'll test it this week-end.

I can confirm this is an older version (hence the discount ?), which means the two-barrels PCB is simply screwed to the backplate, as shown on the product page.
You can unscrew that PCB and place it wherever you need to, provided you increase the length of the two short cables.
Or, like me, use two spare HDPLEX cables

I'll have some time to test it next week with a GTX 970 but I'll only be able to test wether it works or not ! I do not have the knowledge or hardware to measure tensions, etc.

so can the barrels just be disconnected and use the 4pin connectors to power the unit ?
