Definitely lose the AIO as although the asrock vrms don't get as hot as the gigabyte board they still get hot, the stock top down air cooler blows air over the vrms and helps keep them acceptably cool where an aio would not.

Ps if you're having to wait a while consider the up coming ASUS itx boards.

Keep in mind that flat surface aluminum heatsink design for VRMs is not very effective...

Hi to all.
I'm new to this forum.
I got Asrock AB350 Gaming ITX MBO and want to know what is your boot time?
I see in Task Manager that BIOS boot is 14sec, after that boot to Windows is under 20sec.

Is there some BIOS settings which can speed up BIOS boot or there is no help (fast boot is disabled)?

Tnx :)

Mine has 11.2 sec at the moment. M.2 NVMe SSD as the only storage device with only keyboard, mouse, microphone and an unpopulated USB hub attached.

I have this PC with this MBO about 1 months, at beginning it was 12sec (also on Crucial MX300 SSD M.2 275GB).
So, there is no solution to this "problem"?
That is not a bug it is a feature?

10 secs+ for bios boot?
Sorry I haven't built anything but NUCs since they came around, is this the norm now? Is it because of UEFI?
What is it doing? Counting the ram like the olden days?
My celeron win xp boxes goes to windows in like 30 secs.
My intel d-series win 10 goes to windows in 10 secs.

Super quick boots are mostly a mainstream Intel line thing. And HEDT or Ryzen based system will take a little longer 10-15 for BIOS and 3-5 from bios to windows. My old X79 system used to be about 25-35 seconds from off to desktop. Current Ryzen System (AB350 ITX + 1700) is about 18-20 so thats already an upgrade in my book

Wow. Today I Learned.
Just confirmed this with some friends who recently build their quite high end ryzen systems. Seems to be true.
