ASRock Readies Next-Gen DeskMini & DeskMeet PCs With AMD X600 & Intel B760 Motherboards
ASRock is readying its next-gen DeskMini and DeskMeet PCs which will be equipped with AMD X600 & Intel B760 motherboards.
Would anyone who already has their hands on an x600 possibly post hi res board pics? I have a project in the works using the board and clearances are pretty tight... I can't seem to find board photos anywhere.
Someone on reddit posted that it is available on this German website.I emailed ASRock to ask about expected retail availability in a few regions - haven't even gotten a reply.
The X600 is available in Europe, I got one.Still nothing for Canada :/
No word on 9000 compatibility yet from ASRock, I wouldn't hold my breath for news. The X600 is available in Europe, I got one.
Are the new 9600X and 9700X going to work in the X600?
And if so are they a good choice compared to the 1600 and 7700, no gaming?
Interestingly they're not listed in the CPU Support list, but you're totally right in that AGESA 1.2.0.0 (new as of 12th of July) should theoretically enable 65W 9000 series chips.i would assume that the 65W ryzen 9000 parts will work with the current AGESA 1.2.0.0 bios.

2. Enhance system compatibility.
Why shouldn't we believe them? Even CPUs that officially aren't supported like the 7800X3D work without any issues
It looks the new 9600X and 9700X going to work in the X600 if we can believe Asrock....
I totally agree with you, APU/CPU with TDP higher than 65W can perfectly work in "ECO-Mode 65W" and even beyond by activating the PBO, the whole thing being to remain reasonable, personally I avoid exceeding the 170~180W of PPT consumption because we only have 6 VRM phases of 50A on the X600M-STX motherboard of which only 4 of them are really dedicated to the CCD load so in order to avoid having them burnt/overheated and even at this level of consumption, I recommend using something other than the original chassis (which is unfortunately not very ventilated) like an AKASA Cypher ST for example which allows the installation of a 50mm side fan (and up to 38mm deep without disturbing other components) and small bonus there is a "RESET" button compatible with the header of the X600 mobo. Why shouldn't we believe them?
