Yeah, I think Asrock are onto something with Deep-ITX. Good fit for the FormD T1?

*Asrock (or the other motherboard manufactuers) if you read this website, please make a consumer Deep-ITX motherboard or at the least have Asrock Rack make workstation version of this one please. I'm sure the lovely case builders here would have a field day. I could do with the extra RAM in a SFF package. Please, thank you.*

LOOks like a candidate for a contact plate, and as with most server boards no audio.

Also mind that server boards often have a long boot time generally. But this board looks awesome nonetheless.

I'd love a consumer version of this board with 10gbe, a TB4 port and fan based cooling.

Don't these server boards tend to overheat in enthusiast builds?

It depends, generally only the motherboard chipset and VRMs are of concern, but with server boards you often also get fast networking and SAS connectivity that requires cooling. In my experience, as long as you have a good amount of air moving over the motherboard, it should be sufficient.
