Just wanted to share this resource - Anybody looking to stuff those easy-to-get high power 1060/1070/1080 cards from Clevo laptops into their Deskmini boards.

https://premamod.wordpress.com/2017/10/10/clevo-pascal-mxm-standard/

This exact mod should work the same for your Deskmini - Mine's queued up in a watercooling project with the 970 I have floating around, but this is next.

Hey, is there anywhere else this was posted? Trying to test a clevo 1070 and it's rather daunting without a guide (link is dead)

@Damascus - Mostly it's adding a high-power 3.3v line and a 1.8v_enable line to the MXM interface. I can't find any of it online, but I have a hard copy around here someplace.

That would be interesting to see! By the way, an old post of yours saved my bacon today, used the NVcleaninstall you linked to get a stubborn P5000 to work on a z370 STX!

Here's that pinout guide.
3.3v via a thick wire to a good 3.3v source worth a few amps.
Tie the 1.8V Enable line to it.
