I kinda agree with him on that. Here in Asia, hex screws and Allen keys are not so common. Also, it's frustrating to secure a motherboard with non-magnetic screws, especially in a small case like Sentry.
Absolutely. The current Cerberus prototype needs really short #6-32 screws because of the custom standoffs and they're very frustrating to use because they're non-magnetic.
One of the nice things about Torx is that you don't really need to worry about magnetisation, they will sit on the end of a decent bit just from having a close fit.
I'll be really curious to see how this goes. I know that Dan did extremely well on Indiegogo, but the Zaber doesn't seem to have attracted nearly the same amount of attention in the community from what I've seen.
I think he easily has enough to get the 100 minimum order he wants, maybe not to the 1k max cap he's set. I think it'll get 100 backers in a day or so.
