News XSPC Launches TX Series Ultra Thin Radiators

Let me relay here an info @Wahaha360 published in the [H] forum:
https://www.techpowerup.com/246298/...-thin-radiators-20-thinner-than-a-typical-fan

The world's thinnest available PC radiators at just 20.5 mm thick

Available in 120mm, 240mm, 360mm and 480mm sizes.

Saw that this morning too :) With 22FPI, I guess you'll need fast fans to take advantage of it !

I could downsize my Adibou build from 11.9L to 11.3L though.

Nice find! I was on the verge of purchasing a Black Ice Nemesis 480GTS, but now I'm curious to see the test results of the TX series so I may hold off... with the TX at 22 FPI I may still go with the GTS at 16 FPI though.

I wonder if this will work better than a normal one for the Ncase M1 bottom rad
Because the biggest problem is the lack of space / free air between the GPU and the fans, which this should help a lot.

Very interesting indeed!

So if I look at the NB-eLoop B12-2:
Rotational Speed 1300 RPM
Acoustical Noise 16.7 dB(A)
Static Pressure 1.042 mm H₂O
Airflow 86.9 m³/h

Which specs are almost identical to the Noctua NF-A12x15 with the Low Noise Adapter:
Rotational Speed with L.N.A. (+/- 10%) 1400 RPM
Acoustical Noise with L.N.A. 16,8 dB(A)
Static Pressure with L.N.A. 0,9 mm H₂O
Airflow with L.N.A. 70,8 m³/h

We should then have a combo with a thickness of 20.5 + 15 = 35.5mm that should give similar results to this:

That's worth a check I guess!

Anyone with a Cerberus/X know if this would clear the bottom PCIe slot (with a bottom mounted 240TX)? Likely that 15mm fans would still be necessary.

Yep! But You can only use a single slot card!
Damn, I may actually have to switch from my Rajintek Thetis case now... Been trying to do a small ATX case that would fit dual 240mm radiators of some sort and this actually works. Too bad you don't have a GPU in that loop to stress it and see the thermals.

I wanted to, both the Titan V, and I've already designed the loop routing, but I will have inaccessible the Optane PCIe, and I prefer to keep the flexibility to remove GPU, SSD, etc If needed. Maybe In the next months Iàll do the big Jump, who knows!

Do you think that with 2x240mm of these thin radiator with Noctua slim fan, could I run an 7980XE overclocked at 4.3 and 2xTitan V? I would like but I don't want to sacrifice too much the CPU temp adding the 2 GPU in the loop!

I think you'd be better off with 2 separate loops with that setup tbh if you want the TX rads.
