Far Cry Primal, I've been playing it a little bit this evening and it seems nice. I think I like "The Long Dark" more in terms of setting and gameplay but Primal is easier to play. I've never been a fan of AC series though (and never played any of them to be honest).....so I can't really judge fairly!

I'm just happy Uplay works, unlike my experience with Rainbow Six Siege :(

After 6 years, the second crowdfunding I ever did, finally had it's release: Grim Dawn.
It's a hack&slash game from part of the team behind Titan Quest.

Oh I've seen Grim Dawn, how did it turn out? 6 years is pretty darn long for a crowdfunded project, but if they pulled through with it, you'd hope it became extremely good.

Also, I bought SUPERHOT today and holy crap what a good game this has become. It's the most innovative shooter I've seen in years, and I don't just say that because of the whole time-slowing-down-business, but also because of how clever the story is made. Even the main menu in the style of an old 80s PC is part of it, and even drives part of the narrative and can be explored on its own. If you have a VR headset, I highly recommend to play on that. I know it's odd for a first person shooter, but it actually makes the story even creepier than it already is.
The "Campaign" was over after about 2 hours, but that is by far NOT where the "game" ends. It is so, so very well done.

It's base is good: graphics, gameplay, sound, etc.
But it has it's flaws, although most can be polished in a few updates. I'm enjoying the game though. I am amazed how good the environments, effects and models have turned out.

Been playing the same game for 7+ years now, off and on: Day of Defeat: Source and League of Legends.

Hundreds of games in my Steam library, and I keep going back to Just Cause 3. I just can’t get enough of the over the top physics fun. I’ve got a large LAN to attend in a few weeks, so I suppose I should diversify my playing time, but JC3 just draws me in.

I'm (trying at least) playing The Division now because literally half my coworkers are on it. I really dislike Uplay errr.... Ubisoft Club servers, especially in China.

Payday 2 as it is free for the time being (Steam OS release). After this, I may stop and just focus on other hobbies and tasks.

My new addiction is Ratz Instagib, take Unreal Tournament 99, put in some rats and there you go. :D

Looks good, I'm very much into arena shooters like this. Have you tried Cube 2: Sauerbraten, ShootMania, Warsow or Robot Roller Derby Disco Dodgeball?

How complex is Ratz Instagib mechanically? It seems like it's relatively reduced, no more than strafe and rocket jumps, which I believe to be a good thing.

Its very fun yes. I have tried ShootMania a few times. My favorites are UT'99, Quake 3/QuakeLive and Ratz Instagib.

Ratz isnt that complex no, as you said, strafe, rightclick into the ground for a rocket jump, leftclick for instagib! :)

I started SOMA today.

I shouldn't play horror games or watch horror movies, my mind gets very creative while I sleep and I have the most terrifying nightmares even without this "inspiration". But it's so good...

I've gotten sucked in by the Stardew Valley hype. Already spent 44 hours on it in like 2 weeks -_-

Stardew Valley seems to perfectly capture the spirit of Gameboy Advance top-down RPGs, I really like what HE has done with it aesthetically.
There fixed that for you :p
This amazing game was made by just one single guy, art, code and music.

Oh boy. Well, it makes sense that those single-person projects are so coherent.
If there's no language barrier for your vision to cross or be distorted by, every person working on every part of it will be 100% aware of what it is you're trying to achieve.
