Today it arrived. My unicorn PC. I’ve been hunting a working, charcoal black, Acer desktop and monitor for years. The monitor arrived today, and my quest is over. I even have matching keyboard ( not pictured).

I’ll be loading Windows 95/98 and putting a Voodoo card in it for very early retro.

Win 95/98 and all the old hardwares are no problem. How about finding compatible 'legacy' drivers?

Finished a custom 9x 120mm radiator "stand" (to be mounted underneath a desk).

I didn't used to understand people who changed cases like clothes. Now I do. Put my desktop rig back in an NCase today. Damn Necere optimized the airflow for these things. The real question, how long before my fur-children decide my SFF is a great cat perch--every case I've had since leaving NCase they didn't like.

The rabbit hole runs deep my friend. I'm at the point where I look at an NCASE and think "That case is really big". :)

Yea it isn't that small...OTOH it is my personal sweet spot of acoustics, thermals, and hardware compatibility (that 240mm AIO). Sometime I'd like to go with a system like Phantom Canyon NUC, but with AMD hardware. Maybe in a few years it will exist.

Installed latest (471.41) Nvidia driver today.

Now, I have a serious question, especially for those who are using non-English Windows (and I bet there are quite a few in this forum).

Does anyone know how to (force) install Nvidia driver (+control panel) in English into a non-English Windows environment?
Currently, even choosing English as the download language, Nvidia would detect the language/region of your Windows and then download a so-called International version and then install the driver in the language of your Windows.
But, I like to have my Control Panel in English.
Anyone?

Wow, seriously? And people complain that Radeon Software lacks features? Let's see ... Open Radeon Software -> Settings -> Preferences -> Language. Yeah. Sheesh.

U[graded my car (2009 Toyota Auris 180G) door cards from hard plastic to hard plastic... with suede :D (factory option) Slightly bluer in colour, but I'm slowly finding the other matching pieces. Option modding - upgrading my car with the best option parts that were available when the car was new. Oh and some custom stuff ;)

One of my last tech purchases for this year...I skipped DSLRs entirely. Went and kitted out with a Sony mirrorless body. Ebay FTW, body+lenses for the cost of the body

Sony α6100
-Sony 16-50mm kit lens f/3.5-5.6
-Sony 50-210 kit lens f/4.5-6.3
-Sigma 30mm f/1.4 prime lens
