I just finished a build which starts and runs fine so far. However, my cpu fan is ignoring my pwm settings, instead running close to 100% despite temperatures under 40C. Why is pwm not slowing my fan according to bios settings and how do I restore pwm control?
Below is a list of my hardware, just in case that helps:
7700k, limited to 4.2
ASRock Z270m-itx/ac
Cryorig XT140 above Cooltek LP53
Gigabyte 1070 mini
HDPlex 400w
I currently have the fan attached to a sky bracket in the S4 Mini Classic. I'm really confused with my proper temps but annoyingly loud rpms. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
