Since this has been necrobumped, does anyone know what the current state on UHD BD, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support on PCs?
I've always toyed with the idea of an HTPC (to stay in topic, with an internal ODD) and I wondered what one can achieve nowadays with a PC, and what would be the OS with the widest support for current state-of-art standards, both in video and in audio.
