@KSliger I was seeing your imgur from last messages...

From bottom of handle structure to MB midplate there are 72mm free space, do you think that is posible install a Alphacool XT45-280 + 140 fans?

Regards!!! !

@KSliger Not sure on the 8700K cooling setup yet, but its been in a drawer since I got my 9900K and could easily replace my portable work computers 2200G w/RX 570. Most likely Corsair ML's for intake, since I have like 8 of them lying around.

@HoosCharles I don't know how it would be to mix the side panels. In the closed configuration, the case fans blow the air out the exit at the top of the case. This works very well.
Temperatures are good, although the cpu can be tricky to handle. There is no perfect solution. You could do a cpu cooler with a fan but there are pluses and minuses to both configs.
I use a boost disabled 2700x @3.9 ghz running at 1.1v. Cpu stays in the 70's under load and is inaudible at normal workloads.
The Strix 2080 Ti stays in the low 70's. Usually around 71c. It is quiet even under heavy load.
Even sitting arms length away, I cant hear the system ever with headphones on.

I will grab some of the cleaner to try thanks!

Dropping by to say hello! Getting my SM560 tomorrow and super excited to put it together after work. Running a Ryzen 5 2600 and rtx 2070. Might post thermals. Really digging the designs for these cases.

Looking at this case render again:

I think you could take something like this adapter I found on thingverse:

Although you might need to make it thinner (frankly a solid piece with the holes in the right places is all you need), and you should be able to get a thin rad + 120mm slim fan under the graphics card and PSU, similar to how folks are mounting the 92mm Asetek in the SM550/560. @KSliger are you planning on including an adapter or even better, just include screw/mounting holes on the bottom for both the 140mm and 120mm positions?

Can confirm I am making it possible to mount a 30mm slim rad on the bottom with a 15mm fan. Will be an optional bracket to make it happen. Same for the SM550/560.

@Sahaj much appreciated.
Sennheiser GSP600. I love them. I have a few good sets like the Fostex th-x00
but these are a tough to beat package for me, especially since I game a lot.
Obviously, I am a huge Ghost fan haha.

If that is the case... might be able to squeeze one of those XSPC TX series radiators down there.. 20mm thick then do a full size fan.

Loved building in the case and as far as cable management goes, this was awesome compared to other SFF cases out there. I had a semi-passive cooling setup with 2 Noctua Chromax fans and a BS3 heatsink, but the temperatures were way too hot for my liking. 45c-50c idle and about 84c on load. Thinking about ordering a vented side panel paired with a noctua l9a to see if it will make any difference. GPU thermals are amazing though, with only about 64c on load. It looks amazing, feels amazing, and I honestly wish I had the money just so I can build another.

Using the L9a with fan should still give you ~1.5cm of clearance from the panel, right? It’s probably worth trying even with a solid panel
Depends on what CPU you're trying to cool. If it's an i7 or above, vented panels yield a very significant increase in performance compared to solid panels when using low profile air coolers according to Sliger's thermal testing (>10 °C). Lower powered CPUs don't see as much of a cooling improvement with vented side panels.

When were you expecting to get the prototypes @KSliger?
Also did you make a final decision around whether the 570 would use the original flat facade or the angled panels from the rest of the line?

Currently running a Ryzen 2600. got a -.1 offset as well. I may have to take the fan bracket off the BS3 as well; it could be blocking some of the air trying to pass through the fins.
