@Hammerfest while I fully agree with you to bash AsRock for proper support, do you
use this site: https://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp to do so?

Here is what I've found from here:
C++:
    public class RenoirMobile : RyzenSmu
    {
        RenoirMobile()
        {
            PM0 = new MailBox(MailBoxType.UNDEFINED, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0);
            PM1 = new MailBox(MailBoxType.MP1, 0x03B10528, 0x03B10564, 0x03B10998);
            PSMU = new MailBox(MailBoxType.PSMU, 0x03B10A20, 0x03B10A80, 0x03B10A88);
        }
    }
It means, the app has access to my system's SMU to be able to read / set(?) values.
Now, maybe we could somehow achieve a slightly O/C using the access to the SMU and overriding it's values instead being focused on permanent-changes in flash. Kinda we have maybe 2 attack vectors.

PSA Reminder:

If you haven't already, and if your on the "official" or "beta official" (IE not the ones from JZ), and having issue's with AGESA 1.0.0.1, you MUST open a ticket with ASRock or they will NEVER update it "officially".

The 3.60K "beta official" that updated it to AGESA Combo-AM4 1.0.0.4 Patch B fixed all the issues I HAD been having with the 2400G then 3400G in games (seriously, AMD AGESA updates fix so many things even for Zen!!!), and while I am currently on 3.60S (if I recall correctly) and have no issues in games or work programs either, the "official" release is STILL on 1.0.0.1 and is a buggy mess!

Make sure with your ticket you provide your ACTUAL issues along with proof that AGESA update fix's it, such as, going to 3.60K or the other beta's.
that k bios is A Bios, that have a long way. I wrote with Asrock over 1/2 year that they make that bios. And it is better than all bioses before and behind except the agesa v2 bioses... . Yes you have go to nerv the asrock support for a long time that they create new bioses.

@alles_alles I do not know how you do write with them, but please use some translation tools. My English is neither the best, but it's unter 30 secs to check your posting against DeepL or similar service. Sometimes it's really hard to read / understand. Please, see it as a hint for an improvement. (I'm also by no means a teacher or someone taking responsibility for the society XD)

If you want more energy/power. here a hint:
AMAZON:

Delippo 200W 19v 10.5A Laptop Netzteil Ladegerät for A11-200P1A A200A007L Gigabyte AERO 15X Aorus X5 Sager clevo msi GS65 GS73 MS-16JB MS-16K2 MS-16K3 MS-179B MS-17B3 Gaming Notebook MEHRWEG

I have forgotten the important infos, for compatible power supply:
200W 19V 10.5A|Connector Size 5.5*2.5mm DC <- some of this specifiations are important for compatiblity.
Energy problems i had never. I think that is insane or voracious that X300 has got exact same power supply. :-/

If you want 4750G, then you will need an additional power supply! :-/ as like as 180W.
Price, additional ~100 EUR. :-[[[[ ( It is lil bit complex, APU need 65W too, but need a lil bit more as the A300/X300 power supply)

I first checked in the Amazon but was not available and it was quite expensive + shipping

Although I ordered it here - from Aliexpress,
on promotion for only $ 49 and free shipping, but from China up to 75 days

Delippo 200watt

Delippo offered me faster delivery from the warehouse in Europe, they offered me and it really came to me in just 5 days and with free home delivery in a package for AMAZON ! Аnd I recommend the model as very suitable - it works great and stable power supply for Barebone Mini PC Asrock A300 / X300

Thanks for letting me know! I think I will leave mine as it is and give it to a friend with the 2400G and get myself a X300. I wanted to get a new one in any case but did not know if I should take the X300 or the iBOX-V2000M. But seeing that the X300 now has support for Zen3 I would think it is a better choice. I will however keep the A300 case because I like the front better and think it will be better for cooling :-)

Again, thanks for all the help 😃

I was able to flash A300 3.70 while using X300 1.58 by loading an UEFI shell in BIOS and using afuefix64 A3MSTX_3.70 /P /B /N /K /L /X and answering "E". It flashes the whole bios.
Only issue is you can't flash a bios backup, but you can do that later with flashrom.

Thank you very much! With this I could go back to 3.70. And now I could flash it from bios to 3.60S to be have renoir support. 😃

So for someone with an A300w and currently a 200GE, what BIOS do you recommend for a 4650G? I have that CPU here now and looking at flashing. I've downloaded JZ's 3.60S. I'll strictly be running a Linux server (32GB RAM, 1.92TB Ironwolf 510 NVMe SSD) so stability is more important than speed. I'm aware of the limitations for memory bandwidth (my sticks are 3200Mhz) with Renior, but don't care too much since this is going to my main *nix server.

Yes, back when I had my Deskmini A300 (now X300) with a Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G, I was able to test the various Betas Renoir compatible BIOS (4xxxG) and the P3.60S BIOS was the most stable and really nothing problematic to declare, besides since I sold to a close friend, this Deskmini A300 set (bios P3.60S), Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G cooled by CoolerMaster MasterAir GP200 RGB fan, DDR4 RAM of 2x8GB HyperX Impact 3200MHz CL20-22-22@1.2v (overclocked to 4000MHz CL22-24-24@1.35v but with addition of Full Copper heatsinks with graphene coating and totally stable), NVMe Crucial P5 500GB SSD, Intel AX200 Wifi Module (Wifi6 and Bluetooth v5.1 with 2 antennas certified 12dBi), here it is and I sold it since the end of last January, they use it to play in 1080p games such as PUBG, GTA5 Online, Fortnite, Among Us, etc. and he does a little video encoding, watch movies and series in 4K (by switching to his Samsung 4K TV) and so until then he is very happy because no crashes, he finds it fast and very responsive, finally in at the same time it came back a long way with its old configuration which was based on an Athlon X4 870K on an AMD FM2+ platform with 8GB of DDR3 2133MHz RAM, a Radeon R7 260X 2GB and a Samsung 750 EVO 120GB Sata3 SSD ;-), so yes in anyway for him no problem so far with the BIOS P3.60S, that's it.

what do you think about X300 Firmware 1.58 ?
1.40 = 100% sucks... so 1.46 is good. But I need 1.58? It is faster? It makes me happy?
And I only ask because never seen a change log-.-
I could take a look here: https://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/threads/ultimative-am4-uefi-bios-agesa-Übersicht.1228903/ but I am sure, nobody here will say ahhhh oohhhh uuuuhhh!
And if I see here: https://www.hardwareluxx.de/index.p...esa-1-2-0-1-bringt-kleine-verbesserungen.html
Than i ask me, what is the preVersion of V2 1.2.0.1 ? perhaps V2 1.0.0.2 ?
https://www.planet3dnow.de/cms/6212...-1-2-0-1-patch-a-sollen-usb-probleme-angehen/ - there are some infos.
i am not a developer... so just I see, that I perhaps will have less problems with USB 2.0 and a lil bit faster computer (see: Combo-AM4 1.0.0.3abba).

now, I have flash firmware 1.58 on X300. The look of UEFI is lil bit redesigned. Firmware works and the IRQ handler interrupt messages are away on my bootscreen of arch linux. I didn´t test the USB, because atm I have no problems with my settings +overclocking 3600MHz RAM. Starcraft 2 works fine too.... so I think 1.58 is stable and recommend.

You're right.... I'm gonna stick to 3.60S for now. :D

in the meantime i moved my 4650g to a new mini itx platform and put a 2400g into my a300. bios stayed on 3.60S (did not find a reason to downgrade to non-beta), but my g.skill ripjaws 3000 mhz kit run stable only at 2933 mhz (vs 3200 with 4640g before). same story as with my old 2200g, same shitty old memory controller in 2000 series apus i guess.

on the other hand, igpu performance is almost on par with 4650g even at lower ram speed. same bios, same system otherwise.

fyi 4650g runs my new ballistix 3600 mzh cl16 kit on 3800 mhz cl16 easily in this new aorus b450 itx mobo. still no graphics card to use, so any memory speed improvement matters atm. could go beyond 4000 i guess with higher latency, which is not an option for a300 (just like x16 speed pcie 3.0). much bigger footprint and volume of an itx case is a serious compromise though.
