so in the end 4600g could be the sweet spot for a300? because of the higher price and the power limitation of the board 4700g might end up being a waste of money and cpu performance.

That's what I always expected, 8c/16t seems too much for the A300, while 6c/12t with the 7nm advantages could be equivalent in power requirements to the 3400G.

But, who knows. If a laptop can handle 8c/16t with good performance maybe our DeskMinis will too.

4750ge is only a 35 watt APU, they compared it to a 2400g which is 65w, and using crappy RAM. If the A300 was able to handle the 3400g, it can probably handle the 4750g just fine.

The 4750g should use less, german tech news did a test (https://www.golem.de/news/ryzen-pro-4750g-4650g-im-test-die-besten-desktop-apus-2007-149923.html) and the get round about 10W lower in idle, the 4750G uses the 88W package power, the 4650G seems to much lower (but no a value).

Nah, the 4750G consumes 144W vs 119 for the 3400G in blender on that site. The 4650 is more inline to the 3400G power consumption wise therefore it makes sense why we see throttling going on. The 4750G sadly is too much for the A300W unless we can obtain some sort of undervolting ability.

Anyway, we still have to wait, at least a couple of months before these APU's available to customers.
That's suck, don't understand why AMD only release it for OEM's only now.

Yes, with this Motherboard: Asus Crosshair VIII Hero WiFi (X570, Firmware v2103),
Beneat is a other measurement, which shows lower values (Blender: 124W - 98W - 105W) https://scr3.golem.de/screenshots/2...7-system-power-consumption-(system)-chart.png in combination with this mainboard Asus Prime B550-Plus, 32GB DDR4, Win10 v1909.

We have no real Chipset in the Deskmini. IMHO the Deskmini is not a Workstation where throttling is bad. IMHO the sweet spot is the 4600G, but yes, I would like to reduce the PPT instead of vcore undervolting.

P3.60K cant support ryzen 4000
seems P3.60L and P3.60N are the only version support now

Can someone that managed to grab 3.60L please share it? I find this sudden pull suspicious and wouldn't be surprised if we'll never see Renoir support again.

If you have P3.60N can you please share it, I only have P3.60L

EDIT: Got it, also, why the actual fck was it pulled, the changelog for N:
-Solve the problem of PWM fan speed control
-Solve the problem that NVMe SSD can not be used normally (this is an issue that has quite a few mentions on ASRocks forums and here)

3.60N is not AGESA v2 and thus won't support Renoir.

Are we sure about this? Just ran it through UBU (sadly no AGESA info), still has Renoir VBIOS and Microcodes

EDIT: Still cant figure out how to check AGESA, but I think you might have been thinking the 3.60K, which yes, not AGESAv2, that one doesnt have Renoir stuff. I will note, that N is smaller after compression then L, will compare later.

Ok forgot about JZ again...

Looks like N has v2, so L was pulled and N is its replacement, still Renoir support from what that means
