@Josh, could you add the weight of the case? I haven't found it in the specs on your website and looking to build as light a system as possible to travel around

Hmmmm. Let me listen to it again. Okay, if you're talking about that sound that varies in tone over the duration of the video in certain spots, it's the coil whine from the 1080 mini. The only thing I heard on both videos when I zoomed in on the NHL9i was the whooshing of air. It's POSSIBLE that maybe my A9x14 fan had something slightly grazing the fins as they spun? But it wouldn't have changed in tone like that. So it's probably just the 1080 mini coil whine.
To be honest I thought it was my HDPLEX-300 at first, because the coil whine is REALLY hard to place where it's coming from, especially in such a close-quarters/cramped build. But I'm 90% positive its the 1080.
And since then I've only experienced the coil whine when watching EXTREMELY HIGH BITRATE video files in 4K, or when in a very high FPS game, at that point I just cap the FPS to 60 with Rivatuner Statistic Server to minimize the coil whine. I also have speakers on or earphones so the coil whine doesnt really bother me.
My 2C for future readers of this thread.
1. Whine comes from the GPU most of the time--so look there first.
2. I too have found that capping or setting target framerates can really help.
3. Benchmarks cause a large amount of abnormal whine...hard to get around this. Try to tolerate whine during benching sessions.
4. Very few systems I've built whine while doing non-sound activities...like web browsing or office work. So if you have intolerable whine there, then that is when I would worry about it.
5. Lastly, I have found nasty whining to be transmitted through monitor speakers and other cheap speakers, so if you are wondering where an annoying buzz is coming from, check there.
Most of these don't apply to the OP, but this thread is starting to become the target of emails.

Just briefly, for a split second I got a little tiny whine out of my 1070 just before the fans kicked in. I'm not anywhere near as experienced as you guys, so can you tell me is this coil whine? And what causes it?
@Josh | NFC looking to get the G Unique power supply. 2 questions though:
- The DC input cable is between 30 and 35cm. Is this sufficient length?
- The creator wants to know the exact diameter of the cutting whole for the power input cable as well as the length from the screw hole to the center of the circumference of that same hole.

My search for something more transportable and smaller than my Ncase M1 had lead towards the NFC S4 time and time again. I finally decided to bite the bullet and order one today, only to find my months of deliberating means I've missed out. Pre-order for July 2017 sold out.
Will there be a second production run? If so, when will orders for that batch open, and how long is the production time? I may only be in this country for another 6-9months so I need to make sure I'd be around to receive the delivery.

Hey so I found a guy over at Reddit that does custom cables sleeving specifically for the S4 mini with the hdplex. He is a little backed up of course cause it is a one man show and he charges a little more than cable mods. I currently have him doing cables for my July case.

I went the Rog Strix board and Trident RGB sticks as well. Toying with my 7700K tonight and different cooling options with the Noctua and Zalman coolers before I do the De-Lid to compare temps.

Serious! I still need to find that case fan. Has anyone found been looking for any carrying bags for their systems (if they do plan to travel with it) and locate anything nice? Thinking leather, etc.
Oooo that fancy. I might need a little more room myself but we're still thinking similarly.
