ASUS ROG RTX 3090 Strix graphics card has been pictured, looks to be like a 2.5 slot design:

ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3090 has leaked online ahead of it’s official release. Personally, I don’t like the new design.

Yeah, me neither. It is a step back imho.

Depending on how much heat these things generate it looks like the 3080 should be an option for quite a few SFF builds, the 3090 not so much.

I wonder if we'll see a 3080Ti in the near future with specs closer to the 3090 but with less memory.

Supposedly, Nvidia is holding back a 20 GB 3080 variant and a 16 GB 3070 variant.

Still, the 3070 looks SFF friendly, with a short PCB and a TDP that can be cooled by <180mm coolers. I have an ITX 2070, but I'm not convinced I need to upgrade just yet. Gotta wait for those reviews. If the 3080 is that much better, I might change my case to accommodate a larger card.

Nvidia has used TSMC for a long time, and while Samsung has the capacity required for a launch like this, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a TSMC based (Maybe N6) Ti or Super version next year, possibly with faster GDDR6X too. Microns memory specs showed speeds of up to 21Gbps, while these are running 19.5Gbps or lower.

I've been following the launch all day, and I'm getting a bit concerned. Not a single 3080 was announced that can fit in my Cerberus X with the radiator at the front.

I'm hoping gigabyte or MSI can make a single fan 3070 for my MI-6.

A compilation of all the AIB cards known so far. More to come in the next few days, I'm sure. Unfortunately, none of the GA104 models have 2-slot cooling solution (even the lower TDP RTX 3080). I still hope for a 2-slot Gigabyte Windforce model...

EVGA uses the "XC3" cooler on all 3 cards. It's awfully close to a true 2-slot.

Zotac then has this 3070 that is a true 2 slot, but it's damn tall at 126.1 mm and is 231.9 mm in length. I feel this is what we are getting instead of mini card form Zotac this time around. Normally, their mini series is <210mm, but I don't see why they would release this card then another one only 20mm shorter.

With the Cerberus, I can easily go up to 4 slot solution, as long as it's not longer than 10.5 inches.... I'm hoping I don't have to change cases because I've hit a point a frustration that will have me getting an NZXT H710...

I think we may have to wait until closer to the end of the year before more custom cards become available, and some of those may be smaller to cater to SFF builds.

Personally, although I'm fairly sure my next graphics card will be a GeForce 30 series, I'm waiting for both independent benchmarks, and to see what AMDs "Big Navi" offers.

Unless there's a ridiculous amount of stock available at launch, which is probably unlikely with COVID-19 still messing up shipping, I think early adopters are going to end up paying well over the recommended retail prices.
