The MIT-EVO is based on the N0RDR1 design and features the classic layout of my MIT1 ITX Tower...

• Case Volume: ca. 9L
• Material: Steel & real wood
• Cooler: Thermalright SS135
• PSU: SFX / SFX-L
• GPU: ITX size
• Front Fans: 2x 120mm, max. 25mm (Arctic Slim recommended, for easier cable management)
• Rear Fans: 2x 80mm or 1x 92mm
• Bottom Fan: 1x 120mm slim with 1-slot GPU / de-shroud

The design is open source / free-to-use for personal projects and the drawings are attached here to this post... enjoy!

metal parts for the prototypes still take a while, but today I finished the wooden front panels for the case... CNC machined & hard waxed Walnut...

Just curious. EVO probably refers to 'evolution'. So, is there a meaning behind the name MIT (or MIT1)?
BTW, are you back to Germany, HK or still in Guangdong?

MIT just stands for Mini ITX Tower and EVO because the idea evolved from some of my previous projects...

all you need is some MDF or plywood & speaker fabric of your choice:

Thanks for the advice. I plan to wrap that bit in canvas or other similar fabric--it has to be recessed and "accessible" without actually having to screw it in. I was thinking to make a wooden frame, drop in some nuts and secure them and screw from behind.
