Cheers.
I'm looking for a solution to keep my GPU around 70-75c, or lower, that's as quiet as possible.
I'm currently running a (PNY, not that it matters) Founders GTX1080 that has been repasted with Thermalgrizzly's Cryonaut, 90% powertarget, adapted core clock curve and custom fancurve to try and tame the fucking blower cooler.
To no avail, so far. It's sitting at 83C especially in Hunt:Showdown at 1440p, and the fan's getting pretty loud.
I'd love to strap a Raijintek Morpheus II to it and call it a day, unfortunately due to it's size(height)+fans that's not really an option.
I'm not afraid to mod, but I wouldn't want to damage the case.
My last resort is to go get a used 1080ti (FTW3 if possible) and call it a day,
however used supply in Germany seems to be very limited.
System specs, if for some reason anybody needs or wants to know:
i7-6700k @ 3,8GHz, 1,1V (delid)
Dynatron K-129 with a Noiseblocker BlackSilentPRO PLPS
16GB G.Skill 3000MHz RAM
ASUS Z170 MAXIMUS VIII IMPACT
Silverstone SX700-LPT
obviously all inside the magnificient Dancase A4v2 (it really is an amazing case, thanks Dan)
