Hi,

got a similar build but with a 3060ti from EVGA.
In This setup, does your gpu fit parallel to the mainboard, or is it slightly shifed with the gpu touching the psu?
Just curious as i simply am not able to get it fit flush.

Yes, it's a perfect fit 😄 500W in such an enclosure is just amazing indeed. I never used a GPU bracket from NFC as I couldn't use larger 92-100mm slim fans, and it's just a hustle.

I use this to attach fans directly to the heatsink:

Hi man, (hoping you get email notifications about topic replies!) I have a very similar build to you but am getting thermal shut downs from the PSU. I'm wondering if I have a defective unit or this is just the reality of having such a powerful PSU sitting so snug without any decent cooling. The PSU doesn't have any thermal probes but it gets extremely hot to touch whereas my GPU and CPU temps are quite modest.

Have you encountered any issues with the PSU thermals?

Just want to comment more generally on the HDPlex 500w GaN in the S4M: It does fit. You may have to loosen case screws, you may have to loosen the GPU bracket to introduce some movement there, but it does fit in the position next to the MOBO.

It would be helpful if it fit at the end of the case, but with GPU PCIE 8-pin placement where it is on my card it's not possible. There's so little clearance that even a 180 degree connection adapter is unlikely to fit, but I'm going to order one to see!
